This design is a Sandvik original. I've had the Swedish made product for over 15 years and it has seen heavy use. It is now made in China and the tension knob is plastic rather than the older saws aluminum version. The overall design of the saw works well, but I don't see it standing the test of time. I would look at Bahco's Swedish made saws instead of this one.
