These really are worth the money. I've brought cheaper files in the past and they are either ineffective or clog or are uncomfortable. This set has a good variety of types, file like they ought to and do not clog. They also have truly comfy ergonomic handles. All in all I'd say an excellent set of files that will outlive me, I just wish i had invested in some of these 20 years ago.

I bought this set of files when I couldn't find a new set of made in USA ones. They are very nicely finished, with a comfortable handle. The cutting pattern is well defined and even. They work very well and they are very reasonably priced. They are made in Portugal

Excellent value for money The file set is extremely well made. Would recommend, as the files are ergonomically correct. First class product.
Quality product & worth the price than other file sets more than 50% less. If you buy cheap > you pay twice as much = failure. Pay more ONCE aka this set or brand, it's a cheap investment for the long term use/final fit & finish with use of these files. Need I say more?
I have been looking for a good but affordable set of files for years finally I think I have found them.
Usual very high quality product from Bahco, you can indeed buy better files e.g. Vallorbe, but the jump in price is enormousI think that from a performance Vs cost point of view, Bahco cannot be bettered
They do a reasonable job of wearing away and shaping various materials when rubbed against them in a controlled - or, if you prefer, an uncontrolled - manner.
The file set are of excellent quality, extremely well made, a great price and exceptional value. Other file sets are not in the same league as the Bahco range of files. Used them and they are already the best files I have ever used. Highly recommend file set for the professional or workshop enthusiast.
I bought these files because I needed to reshape a door hinge pin on my wood burning stove. I needed a good quality "rough-cut" file and this set of files gave me a good choice. In the end I used the square "rough-cut" file. I like the pouch that is supplied with the files as it keeps the files safe and tidy in my tool box.I've used the term "rough-cut" as the usual term used for these type of files is considered a profanity by the review process!
