cuts well, comfortable in the hand and appears to be a better saw than my previous one, a Stanley Fat Max tenon saw.

I used it on a laminate floor fitting to a large bedroom. it cut straight and true, the far end tooth is sharp so you can dig in and start a cut in the middle of a plank if you need to , some saws don't have that ability. The saw was scrap by the end of the job as the formica blunted the front half but at 11 or 12 per saw it was an accurate if expendable tool. I bought another following this for next time. If you use tenon saws a lot like I do, you will appreciate its precision, no wandering about, straight down the line every time.

Cheap and super reliable. The back weight and the small teeth really help with a smooth finish.

Handles well. Good balance. Sharp cut
A superb saw very reasonably priced, well happy with my purchase and the service.
I needed a tenon saw and had been looking through lots of ads. I realised my general saw is a Bahco, and I bought this for 7 from B & Q on recommendation about 13 years ago, and it is still going strong! I have come to value Irwin tools in the last few years, and had them as my bench mark until I realised I already owned a Bahco saw. Plus the Irwin was slightly more money and that finally swung it for me. As expected in a tenon saw, it is solid and stiff with no play whatsoever and the handle is wide enough to accommodate you wearing gloves also. My only gripe is that it isn't as nice to start off the cut as my old saw, as I am used to starting by drawing the blade back towards me slowly to establish the groove first and I didn't find the tenon saw easy to draw ... MoreI needed a tenon saw and had been looking through lots of ads. My only gripe is that it isn't as nice to start off the cut as my old saw, as I am used to starting by drawing the blade back towards me slowly to establish the groove first and I didn't find the tenon saw easy to draw back. I ended up making the start with my old saw and then switching over which was disappointing! It may change after a few more uses, I don't know? I did read some ads where they started certain saws cut on the forward stroke, so maybe that is the issue and I need to change my style. For now it's a slightly disappointing 3 stars as I had equally high hopes for it based on my old saw and it hasn't reached that same height yet at all in my opinion, plus the handle on my old one gives a right angle for use as an on thespot set square or 45 degree angle for marking up your wood, whereas this one does not. It is a good solid saw, but unfortunately it hasn't achieved the same level of satisfaction that my other Bahco still gives after all these years. Maybe I'll grow to like it. If not I may end up getting another one. Perhaps it would be better if used with a mitre box maybe?
This is an excellent saw with good fine teeth for nice fine cuts
Needed something between a Gents saw and a large tenon saw, this fits the bill perfectly. Nice fine cut and well balanced.
As with all Bahco saws this is an excellent product. The steel is of an excellent quality and the teeth have stayed very sharp even after plenty of use. The spine is very rigid and sturdy and helps give the saw a nice weight . For the money I think you'd be very hard pressed to find anything better.
very good value for money, the whole thing is well made
