I needed higher capacity loppers for extensive pruning and brush clearing of large shrubs. These pruners are very high quality and can cut thick branches. But, the force required to complete a cut is considerable.These loppers are expensive compared to their performance. Cheaper ratchet pruners perform better for my use.

The friend I bought it for told me that it was an excellent product and he was very happy with it. It cuts very well into larger branches. It's sturdy and made very well.
Works very well with good reach. Keep in mind that the jaws are large, if you are after dainty pruners these may be too big. Used in my fruit orchard.
Not cheap and I would have hoped for a more robust feeling implement for the price. That said the tool is very effective and high quality.
It is a bit heavy and large for a person of my height (I am short). It does however cut cleanly. If like me, you don't have a lot of force in the arms and hands, go for a product with an anvil and a system that multiplies your strength. it'll be much easier to cut large diameters.
I waited many years to make this purchase. Way back when I bought the same Bahco lopper. I figured after many years of faithful productive service it was time to do it again. Oh, I still have and use the original pair for cuts involving roots and dirt. I’m sure you can get a better endorsement but mine is honest and I am very happy I lucked into the original pair. Soooo loop on!
