This is probably one of the 5 reviews that isn't apart of a promotion lol. This is my first time ever trying whey protein in my life and this surpassed my expectations. I always thought whey protein was chalky and grainy but this is soooooo good and smooth. When mixed with literally just alsmon milk (200mL 1 scoop of protein) it tastes JUST like Ensure lol. I didn't even mix it in a blender bottle I just added the milk and protein powder to a water bottle shook it vigorously a few times and wala. No lumps, grainyness, or chalkiness. It also tastes really good in my berry smoothie. Berry Smoothie: (1 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 1 cup of frozen blueberries, 1 cup of frozen berry medley, 1 scoop of protein powder) super creamy and delicious. ... Its super inexpensive compared to other protein and even though it doesn't have that many grams of protein its enough for me right now I just started taking it yesterday so I will continue to track how it helps with muscle support and how my body digests it but so far so good! Buy it! Especially if you're just starting out with protein - its a good way to build yourself up to protein powders that have more grams of protein in it.

I cannot recommend this protein enough.Great price, amazing customer service, mixes easy and tastes fabulous. I also have a sensitive tummy and this protein does not cause me any issues whatsoever. There is also a large range of flavours so that you don't get bored with the same one.I love that they have regular sales and the free delivery on the Amino Z WPI is an added bonus. The nutritional value is also much better than alot of competitor brands.I recommend Amino Z to all my family and friends and many have already made the switch.Their 110% guarantee is also amazing and peace of mind if you're trying the brand for the first time.Thank you Amino Z for an amazing product!

As someone with IBS who hasn't used protein powder in 10 years due to the gastrointestinal distress it caused me back then, I was very nervous about dipping my toe back into the protein world. I did my research about what would suit my specific intolerances, and WPI seemed the 'whey' to go (ha), and Aminoz seemed to be among the best brands on offer, and a local Aussie brand as well, which is a big plus. Suffice to say, my expectations were exceeded. I got the Smooth Milk Chocolate flavour, and not only is it tasty and mixes really well in a shaker, it has not upset my GI system at all - this is a huge win for me. I love the minimal ingredients list and the choice of sweetener used. I don't eat much added sugar so I personally find it quite sweet, so I just mix it ... I appreciate Aminoz's regular product testing and comprehensive nutrition panel for each flavour being made available as I feel I can better trust the macros, and also ensure any of my IBS trigger ingredients aren't present. I found this bag to be good value, I think you get what you pay for in terms of quality. I appreciate the use of a ziplock bag rather than a tub to reduce plastic waste. I would even like to see a checkbox on the order page to opt-out of a plastic scoop in the bag, to further reduce unnecessary plastic use. Lastly, ordering and pickup was a breeze. I ordered after 5pm and it was ready for pickup at 9am the next day. Overall, great first experience, and I look forward to trying a new flavour next time!

I was originally scared to try WPI given I had heard it often has worse flavour than WPC. With Amino Z's birthday deal, I had a chance to try it. I found it to have the best flavour of the protein powders I've tried so far (3 different brands, 2-4 flavours per brand, all WPC). The mentioned creaminess is a nice benefit, and makes it taste more like a milkshake than just flavoured milk. If you want a true thickshake texture, you'll need to add something to thicken it more though. Usually it's rare to enjoy all the flavours I buy, but I liked or loved the ones I got (Smooth Choc, Vanilla Icecream, Choc Banana and Banana). Banana was probably my favourite, and pleasantly surprised by how good the chocolate was. Hoping for any future flavour purchases to be the same.
In past I mainly used WPC and WPI from a well known brand (ON). Then to save some money I tried products from BN due to its review on some local well known sites for bargains and discussions. When Aminoz ran a promotion and it ended up being posted on the bargains site, looking at price point and nutritional information, I decided to try AminoZ.Chocolate flavor is something that you can never go wrong with. So originally I ordered 2 packs on Chocolate and 1 Iced Coffee (it was new flavour then). To my surprise both tested amazing. I shared some scoops as samples with friends and now they are AminoZ customers.Recently I also ordered Choc Orange flavour, personally I find kick of orange a lot more dominating. Then I could add it to my next order.Last but not the least, AminoZ has fantastic support team. Never came across such a nice and friendly team. Good on you guys. I hope you continue to grow, continue to provide competitive pricing and such a vast amount of flavours for WPI.
Whilst grateful for the free sample of the vanilla flavoured Aminoz WPI, I have to be honest with my review. This was absolutely, hands down, the most disgusting, vile, foul-tasting thing I have ever placed in my mouth. Not only was it the worst tasting protein powder I've ever had the displeasure of using, it was probably the worst tasting food I've ever experienced. The smell alone of the mixed product almost made me dry reach, but then tasting it took that feeling to another level. I had to hold my nose to gulp half down before I had to tip it down the sink. This protein powder required twice as much liquid for it to even begin to mix properly when compared with normal protein powder and yet, strangely, it achieved the almost impossible feat of being lumpy ... An engineering masterpiece of a mistake. No one wants to have to gag when they are meant to be rewarding their bodies after a hard workout. I will gladly pay more to purchase other brands that taste great, have a great texture, a great smell, great mixability and don't require 400mL of liquid to begin to start to mix properly.I reviewed this powder earlier but for some reason it is not showing on the Amminoz website.I'm happy to keep purchasing other products from the website as the prices and customer service are great. You just won't get me game enough to try anymore Aminoz-branded products after this torturous experience.
Have been using AminoZ WPI for a bit over a year now. It was cheap and I was building muscle faster when using it. I wasn't real happy with the texture and flavour, as I would just mix it with yoghurt and oats.Come 2022, AminoZ must have changed the recipe and WOW, this stuff is amazing. Great mouthfeel, mixes very easy and doesn't clump, tastes amazing, doesn't leave that heavy gut feeling. This is comparing the chocolate with the chocolate. This time around, I purchased and tried the banana, iced coffee, chocolate, vanilla creamy and (yet to try the peanut caramel cookie).I won't go anywhere else to buy my protein. Thanks Amino Z!
I'm an old fella, and over my lifetime, I've developed two chronic diseases, diverticular disease, and T2 diabetes. To help with both, I have a fibre and protein drink every morning. The fibre I've been doing for years, the whey protein is a new addition. I added the protein after reading about a medical study showed that WPC may be beneficial in T2 diabetes. My first experience with WPC, was with a flavoured (vanilla) version, which I didn't like at all, as it was too sweet. This natural, unflavoured WPC is much nicer.I spent quite some time looking at the various WPC powders available, with AminoZ having the best deal (inc post). For my fibre/protein drink, I combine 15g (1/2 scoop) of WPC with 30g of psyllium husks (full scoop), and 250ml milk, to make a great ... I was referred to AminoZ after a friend found out how much I was paying for WPI from another brand. I was skeptical that anyone charging half the price could offer anything approaching my favourite brand in terms of nutrition and quality ingredients, but after doing an in-depth comparison between the two I was pleasantly surprised. My former brand uses grass-fed NZ whey isolate, which is considered to be the best in the world, but when I compare the AU WPI in AminoZ against it based on the amino acid profile, I found almost identical levels of BCAAs. The two also scored very evenly against each other for calories, fat, protein, and carbs per 100g.The choice for sunflower lecithin in AminoZ (Vs soy in my former brand) is a good one, as sunflower lecithin is ... AminoZ also sweetens with thaumatin, while my previous brand used stevia. Thaumatin is itself a protein, contributing to the overall protein content of the powder, and manages to be very sweet without the syrupy aftertaste that stevia can have, while having minimal impact on total calories since only a tiny quantity is needed. The end result was a protein powder that tastes like liquid cinnamon doughnuts, mixes really easily (no grainy texture), equals the very best boutique WPIs in terms of nutrition, and costs half as much. My only caveats are that I wish that they published lab test results for ALL their flavours (Cinnamon Icing's results aren't published) and would disclose exactly what the "Flavours" are on their ingredients list, as I find this a little ambiguous and I like to know exactly what I'm putting into my body. Other than that I'm a happy convert to AminoZ and looking forward to trying other flavours!
This stuff is pretty delicious.I've swapped my icecreams for this stuff because it is sweet and chocolatey. It is like a dessert but 'healthy'.I do prefer whole foods but this feels like it's healthier than eating icecream.I love it but it's making me go to the toilet from once a day to now twice a day.In saying that I think it's just my body adjusting to the new intake of extra protein and a new food type. Not really a problem.I do feel stronger and my body is looking much better with the additional protein source.A very satiating protein powder that makes me feel fuller longer and that is also a yummy guilt free drink/ dessert.I mix 1 heaped scoop of protein powder and approx. 250ml whole milk and 250ml water twice a day.Or if I just want to have it all ...
