In the west we've missed out on most Super Robot Wars/Taisen games. Thankfully this one is globally released and cross-platform. You have here a Fire Emblem-esque SRPG with gigantic robots from a ton of franchises duking it out and trying to save the world. Over the top attacks, crazy crossover story weavings and so many things to upgrade and customise. I can but urge everyone to get it.

The Super Robot Wars series has never been about high-end graphics. It's all about the story and seeing characters from so many anime series crossover. Super Robot Wars 30 is the first main-series title ( featuring characters from an array of anime vs Original Generation which features original characters only ) to have an official release with full English translation. And those translations are fantastic. The only really disappointment is the DLC. New copies come with a code slip for extra content. Some of that DLC was only available before Oct 2022. The rest is only available to people in Japan. So, if you are a player outside of Japan, then at this point there's no reason not to buy it used.
