Barbados Slide

Omg omg omg, they form to your feet. So comfortable and light. They have arches and grooves in them on the inside bottom and fit your feet so nicely. DAY 1, I have comfortably worn them around the house ALL DAY! No breaking in necessary!!! I have never had a more comfortable shoe. Not even a slipper. My new favorite. GREAT PRICE too!!!

Cheap

These fit too narrow for Birkenstock. The design would not last at all due to a perforated like design in the uppers. Very light & not well made. Not what I expected from Birkenstock.. I’d had a same pair several years back that lasted years. I was hoping to replace them with these but they’re nothing alike. I quickly sent them back!! What happened Birkenstock??? And where are the good & cute ole Birkies????!!!! Bring them back plllleeeeeaaaasssseeee!

Comfy But Not As Supportive As The Traditional One

These are very comfy and very light weight but not as supportive as the traditional leather ones. The traditional ones have much more arch support this one has little but still supportive. I have both and I like the traditional ones better for support. I bought these to wear with my workout outfits or to wear around the house or pool. Quality Not sure how long they are going to last. I am sure not as long as traditional ones. Sizing I’m usually a 38 eu but I got 37 eu fits me perfect. I don’t have narrow maybe more regular wide not very wide. I would say stay true to size if you like more fitted size down.

Disappointing

I own many Birkenstocks and have since high school in the late 70’s. These are by far the most disappointing. They run small and narrow in my opinion. The color is blue but would be better in a darker true navy color. The worst part is that they are uncomfortable. I have a pair of Birkenstock style Mia’s that were half the price and are so much better comfort wise. Don’t waste your money on these. Only the name is Birkenstock.

Good product

Really good waterproof slides for the beach that you can get wet, perfect for shower and they don’t slip around, they are so good. Good quality. I’ve bought a few waterproof slides and these are the best. Would be great for travel as they are very light weight. The little arch support is great too when you have sore feet from walking around too much, these are great to slip on as they are lightweight. I really like them.

Lesser quality than traditional Birkenstocks

As others have noted, these are stiff plastic and very lightweight. If you are used to more traditional Birkenstocks (Birki Flor) these will feel lesser quality. I've now had mine for over a month and wear them daily indoors. I do not think these are substantial enough for regular outdoor use. They also run slightly big, but in my experience that's true of all Birkenstocks (they can be worn wth thick socks).

Monster Size

I Love Birkenstock Slides, own 3 pair. I purchased these last summer, and they never fit right. Too loose, too large. I believe they were mis- marked on the box, or maybe they were a cheaper made merchant. I normally wear a 38 EU, 7-7.5, but I later noticed these were 39EU. I loved the color, Watermelon, but didn't love tripping over the huge toe slide every time I tried to wear them . The interior stamp printing wore off immediately. Woods of Wisdom...check the origin where the slides were made before you buy.I purchased the same BARBADOS, in NAVY, in the correct size, and they were PERFECT and will buy again, just, not from Nordstrom.

Most durable sandals ever!

I bought my first pair of these 3 years ago and they are still in awesome shape. Just bought my second pair in a different color and planning on purchasing more for my entire family. These sandals are perfectly unisex in style and last forever, plus they looks stylish on any foot. Highly recommended!

so comfy!

I was wearing fitflops around the house on my work from home days and the weekends and they started to kill my feet this year. I knew I needed more support and found them in these! I do have an older pair of Arizona rubber sandals and they are super comfortable but breaking down and they are hot. For some reason, these aren’t as hot. Perhaps it’s the double strap on the others. I have narrow feet and these fit well. Some may find them too narrow. I’ve had them on for a couple of hours and so far, so good!
