That aside, the jacket is well made, warm and comfortable. I have several for walking my dog; this is probably an early spring coat rather than winter if you are going to be out for some time. I bought from JulesB and everything about the purchase and delivery experience was very good. Recommended.

Ive had a mind to buy one of these for a while now and having the 'pay in 3' flexibility clinched it for me. The fit is snug and you can feel the quality immediately. Dont mistake any stiffness for bad manufacturing - ive had stuff like this before and im certain that within a month this will be one of the most comfortable jackets i own.Very happy with my purchase.
Top quality jacket; highly recommended. Would strongly advise reading the reviews here and buying a size up from your normal size. Unless you’re unusually svelte, a normal size is likely to be a tight fit. I don’t think I’m a huge XL, but the 2XL is a perfect fit.
I bought this for my hubby for Christmas but he didn’t get it till end of January as couldn’t find the right one! So when I dropped on this he was so pleased.I would recommend going down a size as Barbour clothes seem to be quite generous unlike a lot of other designer clothes, cut properly instead of skimping.Fits him perfect and got to say he does look good in it too!
The unexpected heatwave in March this year caught me by surprise, especially when I looked in my coat cupboard for something light to wear and found nothing suitable. This 4oz Barbour has plugged that gap; it's perfect for warm spring/autumn and cooler summer weather. Unfortunately the temperature has now plunged back into single figures so the jacket is staying in my cupboard for now!The sand colour is very smart indeed. Fairly longs sleeves but these have a narrow opening and a press-fastening so won't slip over the hand.Note to those unfamiliar with Barbour sizing: This Lightweight Duke is a tailored fit so potentially size up and don't expect to be able to wear over a gillet or thick wool jumper in winter weather.

First off the Jacket is superb Quality and Looks Great in the very very dark Green.However the sizing leaves a lot to be desired especially as supposed to be a tailored fit.Let me elaborate. Having read the reviews saying go larger upto twice your expected size i went for the Large especially as it stated the model was wearing the medium and they were 37inch chest, although i though the small would fit but was going to go for the medium.Large Arrives and its massive on me, no tapering to the waist really needs a waist belt like the international.Im 5ft 10inch and broad shouldered but slim waist having got down from a 44 inch chest to 41 inch and now 40 inch chest with a 32 inch waist this is real world size actual physical size not clothing size. Im also 72kg.Zipped up i can pull the front over 4 inches from my chest.I ordered the small and medium after this and the small fits nicelly tapered just a fraction tight on the sides of the chest when you flex your arms back, but certainly can live with but would not take a jumper below unless really thin.The medium is more like the large as a part from a very very slight taper to the waist the chest pulls away just about as far as the large there really should be a size between the medium and small as it is a stark difference and as stated is more sized as the Large.I feared the arms would be tighter on the small but pleasantly surprised that the actual arm bicep circumference does not seam to change if it does its imperceptible other than very slightly at the actual cuff.Tempted to send all back but will keep the medium until i can get a international Jacket with the belt at a decent price.Recommend the jacket despite not having hand warmers just take not on sizing issues.
Great jacket as usual from Barbour. I bought in black, it has a black lining, quilted so will be a warmer option with one internal zipped pocket. 4 pockets to the front, 2 lower ones, bellows with ventilation/drainage. Great waxing and quality finish with subtle branding to the left arm and left lower pocket. Adjustable storm neck with corduroy lining, adjustable cuff closure too.Make sure you go a size bigger than usual, Barbour not overly generous in sizing, especially if you want to wear with a jumper underneath. I have bought this to replace my Barbour Poachers Jacket I bought 30 years ago, which has served me brilliantly.
