Good compact system.Bought barebones as I already had other parts.System good value and icubes provide a quick service. PC arrived to order, on time.Would recommend and use iCubes again.

On February 27, 2023 I installed the third NUC I've bought from SimplyNUC. Previously I'd bought 6th & 11th generation systems. This time I got a NUC13RNGi9, Raptor Canyon, i9-13900K, 64GB DDR5, 1TB & 2TB PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs and an additional 92mm fan with Windows 11 Pro.I work with Strategic Account Manager Matt Boone who always provides me with service way beyond what's required or expected. He's a big part of the reason I've continued to work with SimplyNUC. Not only does he not upsell, but at times he even suggests less expensive parts. The problems can usually be traced to Microsoft or Intel.As far as the product itself, I'm extremely impressed. It runs fast, yet very cool. While typing this review, the 24 cores range from 31°C to 37°C. Even more impressive is the silent operation. I don't know if it's due to the extra fan Matt suggested, but it's extremely rare for me to hear any sound at all -- and it's never loud.I'm using built-in graphics, so I can't comment at all on the graphics performance.The NUC13RNGi9 from SimplyNUC perfectly fits my use case -- heavy Excel use. There's really nothing else I could ask of it. I cannot recommend all three strongly enough: the NUC, Simply NUC & Matt Boone.

Impressive build detail, but silly expensive. When I think of a NUC I think small, this is not! It's best considered a midsize tower and needs an airgap on the left and right sides so it can breathe, unlike classic tower PC's which force air from front to rear. There's lots of cool factor going on here, and it all makes sense if this is a showpiece on your desk or at an event, like bragging rights or gold chains on the neck of a gangster in the 90's. If you are looking for a workhouse in a business environment the side access for air flow is worth considering before you jump at it. We needed maximum single thread performance... and this was it for an off the shelf system that we could order and get going immediately. This is a BEAST! I finally have the power (CPU and GPU) I've always needed. I jump from graphics to audio to CAD to circuit SIM and PCB layout day in and day out. For the first time I can have all my relevant software open at once. Resolve, Cubase, Corel, KiCAD, Inventor and 40-50 internet tabs. Primary drive is 1TB. Storage is two 4TB NVMe drives. This does come at a bit of a premium, in both price and physical size. For me, the productivity is worth it. I've yet to hear a fan kick on, which is also important to me. My spec'ed out NUC shipped 2 days after I placed the order. It was in my hands in less than a week. Bravo!
