If the origin of the macaroni is lost in the mists of time, the Rigatoni, which are among the largest, are born in Rome and belong to an entirely Italian tradition. It is no coincidence that they were at the center of a now classic spot shot for Barilla in 1985 by Federico Fellini. Characterized by the grooves on the external surface and the important diameter, Barilla Rigatoni perfectly retain the seasoning on all the external and internal surface, restoring every nuance. From today, the Barilla Rigatoni are even better. The secret? The careful selection of fine durum wheat grown throughout Italy and a more full-bodied shape, designed to give Barilla Rigatoni a balanced thickness and extraordinary consistency.

These noodles are the best for picky toddlers. My little girls love these noodles, they put them on their fingers and dip them in the sauce before gobbling them up. The rigatoni noodles make for a fun and enjoyable meal time. I am always glad to find something I dont have to fight my kids to eat. These noodles did the trick. My youngest daughter didnt like pasta sauce before these noodles came to our table. The method of being able to put them on her fingers and dipping them, or as she says taking the noodles swimming, has helped her to start enjoying meal time much more. I'm so glad I bought these noodles.

I always think pasta is pasta…there’s no difference in taste. But, my husband’s Italian and has set me straight. The varieties of pastas hold the sauce differently. That’s why penne al a vodka is made with Penne! Anyway, Barilla has a great range of variety. Try something different!

This is one of my favorite boxed pastas. It's reliably good and the directions make it easy to get pasta cooked just the way you want it. Rigatoni is one of my favorite pasta shapes because it absorbs just the right amount of sauce. We love to use it in pasta bakes and in pasta salads. If you like pasta and don't have the time to make your own I highly recommend this Barilla pasta. It's pretty close to homemade and alot faster.

Barilla pasta Rigatoni noodles make great baked rigatoni. It cooks evenly unlike many other brands that sometimes have spots that are too soft, mixed with spots that are to hard, and areas just right. This type of noodles is worth the price, there is many other brand that are less expensive, this is worth the extra dollar or two. I’d recommend these to everyone.
Barilla pasta. The best! The ridges gently hug any type of sauce you pair with it. Often see barilla being used by chefs and is carried in high end specialty shops. Very delicious
The one and only. There isn’t another brand that compares to Barilla. My homemade sauces are top tier so the pasta must be too. This is the only one that sucks in my homemade sauce making it even more delicious!
As an Italian expat on my second move, seeing these blue boxes on the shelf of a supermarket is somehow comforting. There might be other brands worth trying but when I choose Barilla it's because a. it's a brand I can trust in, b. it's often less expensive than "artesanal" pasta and other high-end products, and most of all c. the cooking time is RELIABLE i.e. when it says 9 minutes to "al dente", it's actually 9 minutes!
Barilla makes the perfect pasta every time. My favorite is the lasagna “cake”. Stand them up on their ends in spring form pan… fill noodles with lasagna cheese of choice, top with marinara and mozzarella then bake till golden bubbly. Let cool a few minutes then remove forms. Ta-Da, it’s cake!!
Italian macaroni is a traditional meal I have always kept. I have been using Barilla for years. It's the brand of macaroni I trust. I've never had a meal go wrong with Barilla. The macaroni is always fresh and cooks up nicely. 20 minutes in boiling water, with a 1/3 cup of oil, and some salt, and the macaroni comes out perfect! Not to firm. Not to soft. Just right. When it comes to macaroni, there is only one: Barilla. Fresh from Italy!
ugh, words cannot describe how good this pasta is. I had made this for my family during Rigatoni Pasta Day, aka May 24th, and they loved it. The exquisite taste and feeling i got while eating it made me feel whole again. As i paired it with the high quality, mouth watering, Prego Tomato Sauce, i realized it was too naked for my liking. So i did the thing all pasta lovers do and i went back to target to get a package of fine aged parmesan cheese (the brand was Market Pantry) As i sprinkled the cheeses on the perfectly cooked pasta i felt a spark in my soul, a spring in my step, a light in the darkness. And before i knew it, i had found true happiness.
