This game is okay. I’d recommend it to people who enjoy the Arkham games but go into it with the knowledge that the Devs are different and Origins is simply not as good as the rest of the series. It’s kind of fun and the story is decent. The side quests get very tedious and are both boring and debatably too short. There are far too many Enigma collectibles that have very little diversity in how they are collected so it’s very dull to get this side quest done. I think the game is worth a sale price and, honestly, I still think fondly of the Deathstroke boss fight. That’s a good time.

I think this game is one of the most unique games to ever release along with the series itself. It encompasses batman entirely and is a full improvement of Arkham asylum. It looks great, feels great, and is pretty challenging. Fighting sometimes gets repetitive during the boss fights however, when you figure out how they work, they tend to be pretty simple. Everything is like a puzzle in the world of Batman Origins, and I strongly suggest playing this to anyone who's even played the first game.

Let's address the elephant in the room. Yes this game has some problems, and performance issues. But it's still a good game. The story is pure Batman, and the boss fights are some of the best in the series. This game would've been amazing had WB optimized it a little better. Buy this game, forgive it's foibles, and enjoy what underneath.

An absolute blast to play. The graphics are so gorgeous, I especially love that we get to go around Gotham in this one because the city looks stunning. Everything is clearly well thought out and even if you finish and complete the game’s main objective, there are enough side stories and things to discover to keep you busy afterwards. Some of the stuff felt fairly repetitive to the previous games and I think Arkham City or even Arkham Knight may have had a better storyline but I still enjoyed this one immensely.
Once again I returned to play my favorite game series which is Batman Arkahm. It was easy to get all rocksteady three games as they are available in xbox store.Without DKoldies, it was nearly impossible to find Batman Arkham Origins game on XBOX 360 specially with this great price and quick service.Backward compatibility is a wining point Xbox echo system and that made it easy for me to reply this great game as I still own the PS3 disk.Once again, thanks DKoldies for this great game.
This game acts as a prequel to the other 3 batman arkham games. This game was developed by a different studio from the rest, so the style and quality feel a little off. Still, this is quite an enjoyable game. It being the “worst arkham” doesn’t mean its bad. I liked it and might beat it again someday. The game is basically a batman simulator, where the main gameplay elements are beat-em’-up action and stealth segments. You get to use all the items you know from the batman lore, while fighting lots of batman villians, leaving the jokers storyline as the main story. This game works as a sandbox on gotham city.I do recommend this game. Its good.
The disc worked perfectly well with no scratches. Origins story is my favorite out of the Arkham story. The acting is superb. My only complaint is that some gadgets shouldn't canonically exist yet. Thank you for your services everyone.
You can look up the game history in how it all ties in with the prior two (Arkham Asylum & Arkham City). This one plays different, and if you already played Arkham City, you'll be familiar with some of the landscape and button sequences; this one has more and therefore new. Timing in counter-striking is still everything, and you do get more gadgets as the main story unfolds. You also will increase with new moves as you perform certain actions with the thugs out in the street. The scenes of the jet is only the load screen unfortunately. There are side missions of solving other crimes just like Arkham City. The down side? You can beat the crap out of everyone in the city but you're only going to upgrade so far until you face certain milestones in your primary mission. ... MoreYou can look up the game history in how it all ties in with the prior two (Arkham Asylum & Arkham City). No matter what you've mastered, there is only a few actions you can pull off and you're NOT going to win otherwise; there are certain actions which must occur. The good news is that if you are patient enough to learn from your mistakes, you'll see the pattern and thus win the battle through the correct response and timing. Aside from that, the game is worthy of playing for story. This holds especially true for those of you who love the whole Batman genre. See you on the streets and in the shadows!
This game is great so don't let the title make you think it isn't, but saying it's the best in the series when arkham asylum, city, and knight are all better this game shows its lack of rocksteady as it wasn't made by them bit another developer. This game from other reviews saying it's best it the series isn't true like I've said but it's still good and worth playing. Is it worth 30 dollars complete if you aren't collecting it. No, but it is still worth playing at a cheaper price or even more sketchy ways but personally I'd just say try finding it cheap local as it's not as good as the other 2 reviews say it is. Thanks for reading and hope it's helped you decide if you want to collect it or not but I'd still recommend trying the game as it's truly great
Underrated Batman game, I personally love it. While not as perfect as Arkham City I put it right next to it. Graphics are great, story is good, I feel like it's a more gritty batman. Combat n stealth is just as good as all the arkham games. I think this one actually has the best detective work with crime scenes over all of them. Epic boss fights, some of my favorite in the series.
