I have had these tires for many years (since they came out in 2005) on multiple bikes (cbr600f, yzf600r, cb750, vfr800, gsxr, zzr, zxr, bandit) I have ridden all year, in sun, rain or snow. The grip on them is brilliant. They're not the stickiest of tires but they certainly hold the road nice. They have deep tread into the middle of the tyre unlike many sportier tires, which offers great water dispersion. I have even ridden through a 2ft flood on these tires and the bike stayed on the road, no aquaplaining. They offer great grip on ice and snow (obviously not as good as snow tires) but I have never had them slide out on me.They offer great confidence on cornering in any weather. I trust these tires 100% and I am going to stick with them until they are taken out of ... I absolutely love these tires! These tires are actually mounted from factory on my FZ-07 and I couldn’t be any happier with the performance. I have rode through the past Fall, Winter, Spring, and now into Summer. I’m telling you, these tires inspire confidence. From riding through freezing temps to NC rainstorms to weekend trips to the Tail of the Dragon, these tires performed very well in all areas. As of now, I have just over 4,300 miles on this set of tires. Tread wear is very even and there is no sign of squaring. I can easily see myself getting 10k+ miles out of these.Wet weather grip is great! Can’t stress that enough. I have been hit with some nasty rains on both interstates and country back-roads. So far, not one single slip of the tires. I can only ... MoreI absolutely love these tires! I can only recall one instance on a nasty tar snake-ridden highway during some heavy rain where I felt a slight loss of traction but the rear tire did a good job of quickly regaining its grip.As far as cornering goes, they might not be the best but they certainly do an excellent job. Have rode the Tail of the dragon multiple times with these tires (and rather aggressively) and so far no slips! Took my wife out on a ride just last month while we were out there and even she couldn’t believe how much lean we were able to get out of the FZ-07 on those tight curves. Easily kept up with my buddies running track-oriented tires on their 600’s.Highly recommend these tires. I will definitely go with this set once it’s time for me to replace the current pair.

My first impressions of this tire are mixed. This is the first sport touring tire or even sport tire I've had that "wants" to fall into corners and stay in the corners. I absolutely fell in love with it from the word "GO"! However, it has it's short-comings. This tire is also the first tire to get a little "squirrely" in the center under hard acceleration and it felt a little twitchy! Meaning that it is more prone to create a tank slapper than any of the other tires I've owned. I'll just have to watch myself and respect the characteristics of this tire.Mileage seems to be on par or better than average sport touring tire. Therefore, grip is going to suffer. But I had no issues with cornering grip. On wet roads you can't even tell whether you're on dry or wet ... MoreMy first impressions of this tire are mixed. If I want to get a little more grip on next set I may choose the T30 Battleax.

These tires are the supplied tires from Yamaha for my model bike. As with all things they are a good comprise between price, longevity, and performance. The only downside for me personally is that the rear tire is a difficult chore to change, even with a NoMar changer.
This tire came standard on my 2019 MT-07. I have put 9700 miles on them over my first year of riding and the only gripe I have is that it started squaring on me slightly at around 6500-7000 miles... I probably used 8000 miles on straight commuting highway roads and the rest (1700mi.) was Twisties on the the weekends or heading out in the back hill country roads in TX that are also semi twisty. The only time I encountered a grip issue/pucker moment was leaving a gas station (with slicker pavement) and rolling on Throttle too fast too early. I had around 8000 miles when that issues happens and squaring of tire is now at about 1 inch.... I maintained tire 33front /36rear psi as recommended by dealer.Tires performed great in rainy situations before 6000 miles ... MoreThis tire came standard on my 2019 MT-07. These came stock on my 2018 MT-07. I almost had the dealer swap them out for the Michelin Pilot Road tires, but since they wouldn't give me any sort of break or deal I rolled out with these. A month later when i found myself riding in the rain it took about 15 minutes for me to regret not paying to swap them. I road a 2016 MT-07 with Pilot Road 3's for a good 6 hours on a day that ranged from drizzle to full on rain, so i know how well this bike can perform on a wet ride. I had Pilot Road 4's on my BMW R1200R. Same story. plenty of confidence in the wet. These tires, nope. Not doing a wet ride on these things. I will say that the dry grip on these is great. I'm a spirited rider, but not someone you'd call a knee dragger. And i don't ride in the city. Small central ... MoreThese came stock on my 2018 MT-07. So if you're a fair weather only rider that is going to pull over and wait for the road to get mostly dry if you find the weather has turned on you, then these tires will serve you well. If you are like me and don't want to let the moisture determine if you ride or not, then i'd say move along to the page for the current Michelin Pilot Road tires. Even though i've only got about 1500 miles on these, they've got to go.
Today is Aug 12. 2020 - I researched these BT-023's for a bit before I got them back in 2010. Price was a factor. Also wanted long life on the straight Houston roads with soft grippier sides, but I didn't like how the front was only single compound [the harder long life stuff] which concerned me about low-siding all the time in my head as I rode fast turns. The back end slid out just a lil bit a couple times as i was accelerating a bit while U-turning under an overpass.. These didn't make me feel comfortable on fast curves as I like to ride very aggressive. Had them on my Honda Superhawk VTR1000 which ultimately ended up stolen after only couple K miles on them.FF few years after stolen, Got a CBR1000RR having Michelin Pilot Power 2's with riding about 5-6K miles ... Now needing new tires, wanted Michelin Pilot Power 2 CT's this time, but since so old of tech and discontinued, I'm getting Battlax S22's after reading good reviews since they're a much newer technology. BUT for anyone riding moderately, these tires will do just fine.
Great all round tyre, I commute on an BMW XR 1000 in all weather (except snow) these tyres never fail me. Great dry and wet grip and great mileage in them. My commute is mainly motorway but change it up to the lanes in the months when the daylight is better. I basically change these once a year with around 5-6 thousand miles. This is due to ware as apposed to flat spots, best tyre for the money I’ve had.
I've done around 2000 miles on these tyres for a week during a trip to Germany and Austria. They handle excellent on every surface including one of the worst torrential rain I've experienced. The level of surface water was unbelievable but these tyres kept me safe. After 2000 miles they don't show signes of wear yet and I suppose they will last well. My personal experience is very positive so far and I can recommend this tyres. Thanks
Bought these for my wife's CTX700. Tires are what came on the bike new, so we stuck with OEM brand and size. When we received the tires, the first thing I checked was the manufacturing date. It was 4/2018. The tires were almost two years old already. If we didn't ride as much as we do, I'd have returned them and demanded a newer set. But since she'll ride these out in two years or less, they will be okay for their life span. If you don't ride often and change tires that are over five years of the manufacturing date (which you should) no matter the mileage on them, it's NOT recommended to purchase these, as you lose two years of your timeline right upon receipt of them. If you ride a lot and are going to burn them up within a couple years, they'd be a fine and are a ... MoreBought these for my wife's CTX700.
