BF4 is still one of my favorite games of all time. It’s the epitome of the perfect modern warfare game. Roll tanks or AA, fly jets or choppers, or take sharp shots from skyscrapers. BF4 is one of the greatest war games to ever be.

Battlefield 4, the highly anticipated successor to Battlefield 3, delivers explosive action and impressive graphics. While it retains the core gameplay mechanics, the game feels strikingly similar to its predecessor. The updated visuals and sound design are top-notch, immersing players in the chaos of warfare. However, the lack of significant innovations and the familiar gameplay leave Battlefield 4 feeling more like an expansion pack than a true sequel. The multiplayer mode excels with large-scale battles and dynamic environments, but overall, the game fails to provide the fresh experience fans were hoping for.

Battlefield 4 is a large step up from the previous entries to the series. With Dice's newest Frostbite game engine, you'll be climbing up that rank ladder in no time. Especially in there larger and most popular game mode Large Conquest. A max capacity of 64 players (32 per team), try to kill off one another while capturing flags and holding bases. Plus, there are plenty of ways to do it. Hold down the lines and fire near infinite clips with the Support classes LMG, while having ammo bags to fill up yours and your teams when you are empty. Rush in with the Assault classes Assault rifle and revive fallen allies with their defibrillator. Stick to the high ground and bust some head shots with the Scout classes sniper or do spotting enemy troops. This is my favorite Battlefield in the entire series. I used to play this with my friends all day and it was so much fun. The game's weapons are really good and there's not many glitches. When that new battlefield we shall not name came out I came back to this for some nostalgia and I had such a great time. The campaign is so real. The characters and story are very well written and you actually care about then.

Best FPS on modern consoles currently:

Definitely the best FPS shooter online this gen so far. No doubt better games will be released by Dice and in general in the near future. I have been playing this on Xbox One but the player population in this region is just abysmal so I will be getting me a PS4 very soon, getting the unlock pack that gives you all weapons and vehicles (except the attachments that still have to be unlocked through kills, battlepacks etc) as I cannot be bothered in doing the same thing twice on XOne and now again on PS4. Nonetheless BF4 multiplayer is fricking great! Single player campaign was frankly uh forgettable minus the achievements/trophies it gave generously as usual. Sniping has been a real improvement too from BF3 taking away the guess work from that game with zeroing in and the gadgets that help in that, although bullet drop sniping can still be done. The objective based game play is what keeps me coming back to Battlefield as opposed to the run of the mill team deathmatch. Must have game for shooter gamers that is for sure.

Not enough places to climb and shoot, small barriers with a stepped foundation often don't allow you to get up there.Not enough protection in the "spawn" areas, somehow the other teams sometimes know right where you spawn and they literally control the game by shooting you only seconds later right where you spawn. Very frustrating.Out of bounds areas, very annoying!!! There should be a barrier that you just don't enter without going dark and sounding alarms and killing you if you fail to reenter. Some of the out of bounds area looks very cool and would allow better game play, but it's off limits. In my opinion, some of the maps could of been larger to accommodate 20 players which is the max capacity.Health!!! I love battlefield because it was authentic to real war and the graphics were true to old battlefields in Germany or whatever. However, what really ruins the game is different health for different players. You work your way up. Bad idea in my opinion, no matter how great the opposing team is, if everyone has the same health meter and stamina, including physical running capabilities, etc... The game would be manageable even for new players. Same thing with parachuting off buildings, how can you compete with that?All in all, I love the online play, however, since nobody seems to monitor and control cheating, it was a great idea at best with too many people who ruin it for the kids, teenagers, old folks and everyone else that just wants a "fair" match.

Just frustrating

I have had a rough time with Battlefield 4 having purchased it at launch. Since then I have run into numerous bugs and annoyances that prevent me and my brothers from enjoying the game.What I had played of the campaign was very fun (the first 3 levels). The graphics were amazing and truly felt like next gen, and I enjoyed the characters and story telling of the first few levels. But after having my entire progress into the campaign wiped at least three times due to corrupted saves I just don't think I can be bothered to try again. As of now I am not sure if this bug has been fixed but it has happened to me and my brothers enough to stop us from playing it. I guarantee that playing it with a group of friends would be great fun. It doesn't seem like the developers intended for a solo multiplayer experience (although certainly not impossible), as team communication is a very important aspect of the multiplayer.It did get annoying as I played more of it though. Nothing feels worse than dying then watching your opponent run off with 0 health shown over and over again, or my enemies having seemingly overpowered weapons compared to my peashooters.I was never a big fan of Battlefield/Call of Duty style multiplayer anyway, but when I start a game that for some reason has no sound other than the occasional smidgen of music (probably a bug) and enemy snipers everywhere killing me on spawn, that's when it's time to stop playing.Overall this game isn't for me. I enjoyed what little I could play of the campaign but wasn't too fond of the multiplayer after a while. This was the first Battlefield I have played though, so if you are a fan of Battlefield then you should see what others say. Just make sure you do your research before purchase so you don't regret it in the future.

WORST PLACE TO BUY. WON'T EVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE

bought the PC version of the game, digital, but this is completely not downloadable, even when it shows as ready to download in the digital library.Customer service completely useless. After spending 2 hours online, they say the game is not refundable because it's a downloadable version. I said to the guy: then make sure you have the technical competency, which they don't have.Totally ridiculous. I am serious: I have made a resolution to NEVER BUY from bestbuy. They should seriously change their name to worstbuy. and I am going to short their stock, because companies like this will NOT last, especially if you compare their customer service to say Amazon. Totally NOT ACCEPTABLE.
