Battlefield V offers an immersive and intense World War II experience. The graphics are stunning, with detailed environments and realistic effects that bring the battles to life. The gameplay is fast-paced and tactical, encouraging teamwork and strategy. The diverse set of maps and modes keeps the action fresh. The single-player War Stories are compelling, though short. While the launch had its share of issues, many have been addressed through updates. Overall, Battlefield V is a solid entry in the series, delivering exciting multiplayer battles and a rich WWII setting

My son teams up with some boys from Ireland on their headsets and they have all manner a tactics for taking on the enemy in pairs or more. Such as one will advance on foot into an enemy held farm or hamlet whilst the other hangs back in camoflage sniping anyone who moves to oppose his buddy. A level of detail is incredible and this is in my view a more complex game than most and given the huge maps not for older eyes as how he spots enemy movement at those distances is beyond me...though Im sure experience counts..and he does have the entire Ps4 Battlefield collection. But there is a darker side...its all they will want to do!

Massive game for a great price
19 May 2022

If youre into 2nd person, tactical shoot em ups combined with search and collect then this is a fantastic game. Youve got 12 missions that you can either play on youre own or in a group - if you play as a team then whatever you find/collect or achieve, the reward goes to each member of the team (except for kills). So far Ive played for nearly 6 hours, have only managed to finish 5 missions and Ill have to play each mission again either on my own or in a team to find the collectables in order to achieve 100% completions. Personally I absolutely love this game; its fun, intriguing and addictive. You absolutely 100% get your monies worth.

Meh.

I have followed the Battlefield series since Battlefield 1942. It's the game I have spent most of my gaming time on throughout my life I would say. That has all changed with Battlefield V. It pretty much just feels like I've paid for some new maps. There really isn't anything in this version that makes me feel like its a new game, and I've been pretty disappointed with it.This is the first Battlefield game of the entire series, that I think I've spent less than 20 hours total on, and I got it from release. It's always been my 'go to' game to unwind and have a bit of fun. I'm not drawn to this one, and with my PSN Plus account expiring soon, I haven't even felt the need to renew that, because BF was all I used to play, and now I pretty much don't touch it. Overall Amazing Experience
27 November 2018

I know there is a vary large difference in opinions when it comes to CoD and Battlefield. But I do own Black Ops 4, and think it's the best CoD that has been released since probably Black Ops 2. Having said that, I feel like Battlefield V blows it out of the water in most aspects. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is more to my liking, the level design is much more sophisticated, the SFX is no contest, and multiplayer overall just provides so much more joy for me. There are plenty of bugs, sadly, but none are gamebreaking for me just yet. BlOps 4 zombies is pretty enjoyable, while BFV has a campaign. BlOps 4 Blackout is my favorite battle royal-game I have played so far and BFV has pushed theirs back to March, so that sucks. I play a lot of games and I do have several in my queue that I will working through the next several months, but BFV definitely makes the top 3, which fully justifies my purchase. Hoping for a few patches to release to fix some bugs and for Firestorm to be released, but overall well worth the price relative to other full priced games out right now in any genre.

Probably the best game Ive played in a while
2 April 2019

Im not a massive gaming enthusiast. However I play often enough and this game is definitely worth the buy. Once all the nonsense downloads have been done you can play as long as you like at your hearts content. The game graphics are fab! The story mode is fantastic with a good storyline. And online multiplayer is just what you need when you want some good competitive gaming. Big thumbs up from me! Buy it!

Seems like a great Shooter, But don't go in expecting a realisti
9 October 2018

Well here we are, in 2018 where political correctness is more important than quality of games. Battlefield 5, supposedly set in a realistic "world war 2" setting is basically butchering history. From what I've seen, its a game that seems like a blast but its horribly unrealistic and contains cyborgs and females (no I'm not sexist mighty ape) in a world war 2 setting. In response to the backlash by fans, developers called fans "uneducated" which goes to show how much the developers actually care about this game. Its nothing more than a politically correct game and is not representative of history at all. So be warned, if you're expecting a accurate portrayal of world war 2, this game isn't for you. The graphics are poor. Just to think, this was released in 2018. I would expext graphics like this in 1980, but 2018? Dont waste your money.

World War II Era Battlefield Game
22 December 2019

Single player campaign is quite short, heavily focused on multiplayer over the internet using PSN with impressive up to 64 players and new content. Its pays homage to the series roots. Unforgettable World War II experience unlike anything I've played before defined by a strong story line, stunning visuals and immersive sounds that places you directly in the action. Highly recommended!
