I was 17 when I first got this brace, shortly after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. The degenerative joint disease seriously takes a toll on my life especially with the chronic pain and weakness I can feel. I've had this brace for about 6 months and I know for sure I could not have performed as I did in rock climbing, my passion and hobby, as well as at my job on top of school. The brace has held up incredibly well, still strong and stable even after months of daily use. Through rock climbing competitions, hours standing at work and moving around, the brace helps keep me active and moving while limiting pain and bringing support, something I value especially with my disease. I came across these when travelling overseas. I was still recovering from a severely broken ankle which had impacted my gait; causing me to turn my knee inwards and pain. As soon as I put it on I felt comfortable and indeed comforted. The brace worked brilliantly. Despite the price...in Euro... it has been very well worth it. I have just now ordered an ankle brace for the bothersome ankle and I have faith that it will work as well....thank you

its the best in all aspects.I've wasted $$ on others Im a Carpenter 27 years building houses prior to that 7 years military parachuting hitting the ground like a sack of potatoes then running around like a loaded pack mule it all caught up to me with my knee complaining the loudest . PT at the VA has helped a little but the brace has done the most good. thanks to it now when I see really old men walking limp free Im not as jealous. oh! one other thing when Im wearing it I'm not even conscious of it ( its that comfortable). when Im not wearing it the knee quickly makes me conscious of that.

Excellent knee brace. Purchase 1 for each knee. Have an injury on one knee but decided to buy for both. Wear them for support during physical work & walking for long periods. Very flexible & supportive.I had to swap sizes & company was great with refund for new size. Suggest if you can fit in shop is the best way to size. I had to with the comfort size to fit my leg shape.
The knee brace works very well. I dance a lot and go hiking frequently. Including high altitude in Nepal regularly. I have slight arthritis in my right knee and I find this knee brace the most helpful. As the left knee sometimes gives discomfort (goes out in sympathy) as well I will also buy a second brace. I injured my knee while carrying something heavy upstairs. Afterwards, even the slightest load while bending my knee was painful. This knee brace stabilized my knee very well, and gave me confidence to walk without pain. The improvement to the pain was noticeable in just one day. I was able to stop using this brace in 5 days and the pain is completely gone. I believe this knee brace not only hastened the healing but, also prevented further damage that long-term inflammation could have caused otherwise.
This brace gave the needed support after surgery on my torn miniscus. Now weeks later, I still use it for confidence as my knee gets stronger. Working in construction is demanding, but it has done the trick, and I'm hoping to get out in rifle season for weekends of challenging elk hunting in the Absaroka Range in Montana. I've torn my meniscus while training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 6 months ago - I am now 3 months post meniscus tear repair surgery... I was and still am very nervous about returning to full-on training. After intensive online research it was clear to me to order a knee brace from Bauerfeind. I ordered my first brace a few weeks ago for my injured knee. I need to say I'm positively surprised, my knee feels well supported while training. The brace mostly stays in place and is quite comfortable (as far as a knee brace can be). Eventhough I haven't done any grappling and sparring so far, I believe buying a second brace for my "better" knee was a good choice to prevent future injuries.
The brace is easy to pull on and does not feel hot at all. It is comfortable to wear all day and helps keep my knee aligned and strong. Fits under clothes not problem and allows knee to bend for sitting. I wore it travelling on an international flight kept the swelling down yet allowed movement. Wearing my knee brace at the conference was easy, supportive and reduced the pain but could not be seen.
The GenuTrain Knee Brace has been such a relief following an injury to my knee. It is very comfortable and does not hinder me when walking around. It has great support and helps to prevent some of the pain in my knee when walking or twisting. It was recommended by my physiotherapist and orthopaedic surgeon for my injury management and rehabilitation. My other knee is now also giving me some problems so I will be ordering another one. The staff at Bauerfeind have been friendly and very helpful.
