Purchased a pair of these for the purpose of trying to get some knee support while snow skiing. For context, I have mild arthritis in both knees & jagged meniscus tears that can’t be fixed - a walk around the block can be quite painful.I wore these for 2 full days of skiing and anytime walking through the snow. Absolutely no pain! An amazing product. They were comfortable to wear all day, they were not restrictive in any way, and stayed exactly in place (no readjustment at any time). Thoroughly worth the investment and would highly recommend.

Had an online consultation with Stephan regarding my left medial meniscus tear and my preference for protection over performance. He recommended the Genu S and the perfect size for me. It literally saves me from quitting badminton because it provides so much stability without too much restriction. Thank you once again for getting back to my favourite game!

I’m 54 and recently had a silly accident at home sliding in a dog toy and snapping my MCL with a grade 3 tear. After being unsuccessfully fitted at the physio twice with a very uncomfortable hinged brace I decided to look online and came across great reviews for your braces. This brace has been wonderful for my safe mobility in a house with three large dogs. Comfortable to wear all day with only minor adjustments needed for comfort due to some large veins on my inner calf. I wear a padded bit under the bottom of the brace and stays in place beautifully and no pressure on the veins. I find due to non muscular thighs the top rolls down a bit but this doesn’t really affect comfort too much. I came across these when travelling overseas. I was still recovering from a severely broken ankle which had impacted my gait; causing me to turn my knee inwards and pain. As soon as I put it on I felt comfortable and indeed comforted. The brace worked brilliantly. Despite the price...in Euro... it has been very well worth it. I have just now ordered an ankle brace for the bothersome ankle and I have faith that it will work as well....thank you
I love my knee brace. At the moment I'm limited to non weight bearing exercise and crutches so can't say what it's like to run around in, but on my bike, rower and general wear it's well worth it.I tore some ligaments and had a huge haematoma in my left knee after a horse riding fall. The brace never hurt just supported the knee as unfortunately the knee had to support all of me due to my fractured heel. Made me feel so much more secure getting around on one dodgy knee!!
I have issues on both knees and therefore purchased a pair. The braces are comfortable and reliefs the stress on my knees especially on the longer runs.My only issue is that the vecro keeps rubbing and sticking onto each other which is annoying. Am learning to deal with that, and already done a half marathon, but had to be conscious they may stick together anytime. Am planning for an ultra in 2 weeks, which will be the tale teller. Overall, an effective system, just consider those of use that need 2 and the vecro issue.
I have previously used the Genutrain 10 years ago for an advanced knee sprain. The brace was invaluable for me as I recovered independently from the injury (my insurance had run out).10 years later a similar injury (quadricep tendon rupture) occured to my other knee and am now receiving proper PT. This brace has improved retention due to the Velcro straps which help keep the brace in place all day (the Genutrain was prone to sliding after it has worn down from use).Definitely recommend this product and all bauerfiend products to others
Feedback from the patient.The best knee brace he has used so far. The breathable material is soft and works in with his skin, giving support and comfort without overheating, becoming itchy etc.The reinforced sides at the knee are also great as they give support and a feeling of confidence when moving, walking and even sitting/drivingStill needs to have a good work out in it and I will get more feedback at the next appointment.I would like to add photos or videos but it is difficult without permission from the patient. He may agree at next appt and then we can upload something.But so far.... very happy with everything.
