After being in a walking boot for what seemed like forever and my ankle still hurting and PT only making it worse I found a new podiatrist. We scheduled surgery but till then he told me to try this brace/compression sock. It is pricy, but it is amazing. I was able to walk again with a regular shoe till surgery despite there being torn stuff in my ankle and it also brought the swelling down as well as the pain. While my tendon did keep snapping out of place and over the fibula, the pain was way less than when it was in a boot and I could wear regular jeans again too. Even though I only needed it for 2 weeks as then my doctor fixed my ankle and I haven't needed it since, it was worth it for those 2 weeks.

I have ankle injury and have to be on my feet for work 40-50 hours a week. The brace actually helps with swelling and pain a lot. Also, the gel pads are great! I wasn't sure if they would fit well while wearing shoes, but there's no problem at all. I plan to buy the second pair soon.

I am very glad that I finally decided to purchase a MalleoTrain ankle support, I rolled my left ankle many years ago and in the last several year I had started experience pain and stiffness. this ankle support fits the shape of my ankle well and feels very comfortable, I wear it during the day including when doing exercise, the pain I used to have has reduced significantly, I will definitely continue to wear it.

I thoroughly enjoy my morning walks, but was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right ankle. After scouring the internet searching for a comfortable and supportive ankle support, I luckily came across the Malleo Train Ankle Support. After reading the reviews, I placed an order straight away and I couldn't wait for it to be delivered.....I wear the support when doing my morning walks, finding it extremely supportive and a very comfortable fit in my walking shoes. It's worth every cent and I highly recommend the Malleo Train Ankle Support to anyone with ankle issues!
During a socially volleyball session, I landed on an opponents foot when they crossed their side of the court resulting in me rolling my left ankle.I really like this ankle support for wearing at home as the ankle pain is still present. However wearing this with my shoes during volleyball training and in a game is not so good. The bulkiness is a little uncomfortable and the strap doesn't give the lateral support I prefer.Recently going back to rigid tapping my ankle I must admit that my ankle feels more supported when tapped correctly compared to the ankle support.Note the Velcro that the strap uses to hold itself will cause some minor wear on the ankle support sock. You can see the fraying of the fabric in the photo.
After trying so many other brands, did further research and came across Bauerfeind. Thank goodness I did. Purchased the Malleo Ankle Support for my Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis and can honestly say have noticed a marked improvement with mobility and pain relief. Very happy!!
The model I wanted was out of stock so I purchased this design instead. So pleased I opted for this design as the wrap around velcro strap adds and extra layer of support I didn't think I needed; it feels so comfortable. No tightness at the toes or calf, just super comfortable that I can wear all day.
It's so good. I am doing things in sport that I have not done in long time. No longer pain or soar ankle and it is like the support is not there. Well designed. I bought my second Malleo support only two weeks after the first one. I thank you for your help. My ankle was badly damage in an accident . I was hit by a bus.
I purchased this after doing my due diligence the result of many miles on the trail this year. After rolling my ankles from my Solomon Trail runners (I've subsequently returned those) I wanted more support since I knew that I was stretching the ligaments and would need some support for those times where I would suffer a sprain. This support which not the cheapest one around is the easiest to put on and very stable. Unlike other braces this offers some compression to keep the swelling down should you encounter an injury the way I did recently. While doing a very arduous hike in April I was talking to a buddy and turned to say something and while putting my left foot down I rolled my ankle as the rock I was on came loose and my whole body collapsed on that left ankle. ... MoreI purchased this after doing my due diligence the result of many miles on the trail this year. While doing a very arduous hike in April I was talking to a buddy and turned to say something and while putting my left foot down I rolled my ankle as the rock I was on came loose and my whole body collapsed on that left ankle. Not good. I broke the very bottom of my left fibula and the ortho prescribed a lace up ankle support and wasn't familiar with this one. I tried his but it was not nearly as comfortable or easy to put on. I started hiking again after my follow up visit and use this while my ankle heals and so far it's helped a lot with keeping my on the trail while I recover.
Together with the knee supports and this one for my left ankle, the pain that I have been having in my hips and knees when I climb stairs, is now gone. After I wasn't able to do my normal cardio exercise routine due to a trip and it's preparations in August, when I came back home I discovered the pain was gone. When I restarted my exercises, the pain came back. That's when I realize that my super flexible joints were suffering from that intensity cardio workout. The idea came to get some joint supports and these are the supports that I bought after some research. I really am quite amazed that just using these supports could do that. Since using these, all the pain is gone again! They don't seem that big of a support to give that kind of effect, but they obviously ... MoreTogether with the knee supports and this one for my left ankle, the pain that I have been having in my hips and knees when I climb stairs, is now gone.
