This looks almost exactly like the one i bought 20 years ago and still have. I moved house with it at least seven times. During the lockdown our family has enjoyed it more than in all our previous years of ownership! We've had steak and pizza recently and over the years it's been used for kebabs and satay. Next up will be a long-cooking casserole. It has withstood rain and sun and the only complaint I have is that the last time someone set it up the handle ended up on the wrong side and now the screws are rusted in so we can't change it! But it isn't going anywhere anyway. I also had to buy a new top grill (we didn't take good enough care of the original one) and that was easily available.

Firstly, I am new to the heat bead/charcoal grilling world.Was introduced by a friend who bought his Weber Go Anywhere on a work trip recently.As a family of 4, I was looking to get something with a decent capacity, but not looking to do long low and slow cooks....this 57cm Compact Kettle fits that list perfectly.I was daunted by the whole fuel idea, but in reality it is pretty straightforward....patience is the key....time and preparation is needed before cooking.I have managed some tasty cooks mostly chicken chops, fat steaks & spare ribs....you simply cannot recreate this flavour!!Be careful not to overcrowd the cooking surface.This is all a bit addictive, there are some amazing accessories out there which I am looking into now, as I type this....ha ha!

I have bought this a week ago and used it once for the lamb grillers. The result of the meat was so delicious that I want to try this more and more and with chicken and pork. The entire family was impressed and some asked did I get the reddish colour on the grillers. Excellent turnout very happy.

Good quality in general but disappointed that I had to use my own washers when assembling the vents to stop them scratching the bowls. Chose Weber because of its good reputation. Cooks fine, although took longer than expected, maybe due to type of briquettes I used (coconut shell). Quite happy so far.
First time I received it the box was in good condition but the bowl was chipped and had a lot of damage around the lip with the loose flakes of paint in the bottom of the box, under heat it would have gotten worse.Appliances Online swapped it with a brand new unit no problems.Second unit came with a missing nut, had to go to bunnings and grab a set of nut and screw as the threads of the Weber screws would not marry properly with bunnings same size nuts.Otherwise the quality is ok, the nuts that marry the handles to the bowls are quite flimsy so make sure you get the handles right first time, otherwise the Australian cook book and other tools included in the box are of decent quality.The BBQ is quite heavy, which is a good thing in my opinion.Also the ... I needed a small barbecue, this was just right, I have had Weber products before, so I was already aware of the build qualities, happy so far with my new compact kettle barbecue, I have tried cheaper versions and they didn't come near to the mark and didn't last. Quality will prevail every time.

Great product, cooked a roast chicken with vegetables. Delicious ... Read your instructions first, bit tricky if you don't, as I found out...Once you have sorted your coals and have your temperature correct, you can leave it to cook and do other things. I went off and exercised my horse, came back about an hour and a half later. Dinner all done. Absolutely love this product
This compact grill was too replace a bbq that had rusted over the years. The reviews for Weber were good so decided to buy, so far seems sturdy but haven't used it yet
I bought it yesterday assembled it as soon as I got home. I wasn’t happy with the moving parts so I slept on it. Woke up this morning and had a second play with it and felt the same, so I disassembled it and I wilI be returning it to the store this afternoon to upgrade to the original kettle. key parts that are welded and pop riveted on the original you have to bolt on which leave these parts either hard to move or to tight to move. My advice to Webber is to fix these issues or stop selling this product. The original is the best band for your buck barbecue in my opinion but this model will give Werner a bad name if people only buy this one and don’t try the original.
