I have a problme when it comes to Bluetooth mobile speakers….. I have to buy them all! When the Bose Soundlink Max cane out - bought! The Sonos Roam 2 - bought! Then Marshall Emberton 2 (in the gold and cream color) - bought! Well, that was out for a minute, but dropped to $119 and i had to have it! Now… the Beats Pill - bought! Just picked it uo today and I must say of the recent speakers purchased this is by far one of my favorites! I never owned the original because it just didnt sound good to me at all. But, oh M Gee this bad bot is nice! Its been redone and it looks, feels, and sounds premium for $50 less than the original! I think when Apple acquired this brand the technologies used to improve Beats were substantially noticeable! Bose Soundlink Max still my fav, but this Beats Pill cannot be Beat for the sound stage, build, and proce!

10- year Audiophile here:The low end frequencies that the woofer delivers combined with the precise frequencies simultaneously blends into a lossless audio experience for $150. I am buying a second one soon, two of these for $300 would sound significantly better than the beach pillow XL and you can also place them far apart for stereo. Apple never misses, quit contemplating and hit check out.

This is my first Beats Pill and all I can say is this thing rocks! I bought two of these after watching YouTube videos on how good they sound paired together. They sound loud and still have great sound quality as well. I was thinking about buying the new Bose speaker that was released a few months ago but the price was way too much. I figured that I can buy two Beats Pills cheaper than 1 Bose speaker. The sound of two is just harmony to your ears!

I had really high hopes for this speaker, I was really excited to be able to fall in love with the audio quality because it’s Apple its supposed to be great right? Not so much. Its a very MEDIOCRE speaker nothing to be blown away by at all. What I do like about it, is how iconic it is. The classic red is beautiful and they did a great job cosmetically. But after nearly a decade they should’ve OVER delivered on the sound quality. Instead they UNDER delivered. Im trying really hard to like it so I dont have to return it cause it looks great, and an apple ecosystem portable speaker is invaluable. Perhaps my expectations were set to high :/. If staying within the apple ecosystem is what you want, then get it. If not, get a bose, sony, or even a JBL.
I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews everywhere, but this little speaker packs a punch. I've been using JBL charge for a while now & it has the most complete sound so far just needed something smaller for traveling with my laptop & the Pill has more than surpassed my expectations. Great hi's, mids & bass in such a small package. I really don't need another but just might purchase a second one for that complete surround sound experience...
Insanely good clarity, especially with voices. wow. and for the people that love bass like me, its not yelling BASS to you but its for sure is more than enough for me and im happy. between 40-85% volume, the bass sounds and feels the best, higher than that and it starts to not stand out as much but that's expected. Just ordered a 2nd for their stereo sound left and right channel feature. and again, that vocal clarity especially when you're just listening to a video or a podcast, its incredible. I cant stress that part enough
Beats Pill triumphs over my HomePod mini and UE Boom 2, notably in the bass department. The lanyard is included to carry the Beats Pill. However, the process of establishing a wired connection is extremely finicky and there’s practically zero guidance about how to do it besides Apple’s online guide. This in particular is quite a pain.To power the device on, you must press and hold for the power button for a few seconds. If you underestimate how long you’ve been pressing, you may have to try twice or thrice to power it on. That’s annoying. All in all, I really enjoy this speaker. Would recommend.
The retuen of the Beats Pill is extremely exciting. The champaigne gold color is beautiful & a great look on a speaker. The highs & mids of this speaker are amazingly crisp and clear. The bass does leave a bit to be desired and is where the speaker lacks the most. For the price, this speaker is nearly unbeatable. If you listen to music with deep bass, you’ll be better off with the Bose Soundlink or JBL Charge as both have better bass. The Beats Pill does feel like it beats out both on the crispness of sound at this price point.
Got this speaker on release day and overall, very happy with my purchase. Sounds great and is built great. I would recommend the red or white version of this speaker though as the silicon on the black version attracts a lot of dust particles and they’re easy to see. I would say this speaker is priced extremely accurately in comparison to the current market, I don’t feel like I’m paying a premium for the beats brand. The bass is loud and clear and punchy. Some left to be desired on a few hip-hop genre songs, but this isn’t a 300 dollar speaker. I updated from a Bose sound link mini 2 and the difference is clear, highly recommend.
Pleasantly surprised by how loud this’ll go! Well worth the money, which I was hesitant on spending. My qualms were gone about 5 seconds into listening for the first time. I bought mine in red cause I thought the black was a little bit boring! The build quality is also VERY good and absolutely feels like a premium product. You should definitely buy this!
