Bought these late Oct/early Nov 2023.Had issues with them connecting, a lot of the time only one side would connect properly, this issue started almost immediately. Spent a couple weeks on the forums and trying different phone settings.Eventually started a chat with Apple. There was an update for my phone which fixed the issue immediately. The headphones worked flawless for about 4 days. Then the issues started all over again.Started another chat with Apple and sent the headphones in for warranty. Apple found corrosion on the battery terminals and didn’t go any further. Apple is saying no warranty because of water damage and didn’t investigate any further.I honestly don’t think the issue started because of water damage. The senior advisor is trying to help out as best he can, but all he said was to remove the corrosion from the battery terminals and if the issue still persists to send them back in for repair. I don’t believe Apple will go any further with them because they have notes stating they have water damage.Very disappointed, 3 months of treadmill running and they are basically dead. Apple advised I could have them fix them for $265. No thanks.Apple if you are reading this you have my contact info.

I had regular air pods before. These were super annoying with sometimes one pod charging and the other not. Only to realize that if you want to use them one is empty......long story short, I bought the Beats, hoping it will be better charging because the lay down and rest on the charging pins.3 stars - cause the fit and sound make up for it - otherwise 1 Star for daily usabilityHeads up - they will frustrate you by a lot. Again the sound is great but charging is an absolute nightmare. It's not like you coming from a Mountainbike ride, which btw they are great for and throw them into the case and know they will charge proper. No, you have to make your they are connected left and right and that your phone is actually showing you that both are charging - I can't ... MoreI had regular air pods before. User friendly?! Not quite sure about that.ONLY POSITIVE PART: Sound is great & work amazing for Mountainbiking......

I'm so happy to have my Powerbeats back in my life! I lost one when I hastily snatched off a mask and accidentally threw it on the street, not realizing my Powerbeats was still connected to the mask as I drove away on the highway. I couldn't find it the next morning, so I thought I'd have to buy a whole new pair of Powerbeats. But then I found this site and the shipping was super fast! The only issue is that the button on the left reacts differently than the button on the right, but I'm guessing that's due to different manufacturing issues because they're not technically a pair. However, that problem is so small compared to how much I love having headphones that won't fall off my ears. Thank you again. I’ve bought these twice. I just made a huge mistake not buying the apple warranty on the first ones. They started to not charge properly. Then they apple Beats Pro claim that the battery last 9 hours which they don’t after 6-8 months. They start to fail you. Then it says that they’re are charged 100% percent and 30mins later the left ear piece is 10% than after that the right ear piece says 10%. You’ll find yourself not understanding what’s going on and start to think you’re crazy charging the box case but the case is fully charged it’s just the earbuds are just not charging correctly and the battery doesn’t last long anymore. Imagine paying $200 + tax & apple falsely advertises this product. I’m currently about to put a claim on my Powerbeats pro 2 this week due to ... MoreI’ve bought these twice. If I could give these 0 stars I would, and for one reason...the charging system on these is without question, the single worst platform I have ever used.I cannot express this enough. Getting things seated correctly has been a chore from day 1, and that includes a second pair and 2 different charging cases from Apple. They do not seat properly and will self-discharge 100% of the time if the case is closed, and about 80% of the time if the case is open. Things are just too fiddly. I don't know if the tolerances are too tight and QC too low or what, but given that 9 times out of 10 I cannot use these immediately when I want/need to and have to wait 3-10 minutes for one of them to charge enough to use, and then use the other one that continues to charge (hopefully) ... MoreIf I could give these 0 stars I would, and for one reason...the charging system on these is without question, the single worst platform I have ever used.I cannot express this enough. I keep them because I'm stubborn and paid almost $200 for them and will get as much "use" out of them as I can. It's just so very frustrating that this charging system was ever implemented in the first place. There are pros:I like the hookThe sound is pretty goodThey are Apple "native" and connecting initially is quickWhen you can get things exactly right to get them charging, they do so extremely quickly...like, scary fastThere are also other cons:Even once adjusted, the work loose from my ears when running (which is why I got them in the first placeThey do occasionally lose connection from the phone during use which usually requires disabling and re-enabling bluetooth on the device (phone/computer)
If you are looking for a good pair to workout with, these are the ones. I have been using this model since it came out and prior to that used the powerbeats. Now these headphones are definitely expensive, but they are worth every dollar. Sound is loud and powerful, they fit perfectly over your ear and don't fall out, you have the ability to change the setting so you can wear one at a time and still use them, they are sweat/water resistant (not proof!!). I have worn these for years while in the sauna dripping sweat and through many long runs and long workouts and never had an issue with the durability or damage from sweat. Some cons: sometimes the headphones come off the charger in the case and dont charge. But the fast charging capability makes up for that. The case is also very bulky, it wont fit in your pocket like the airpod case. I also havent found any good cases to protect the case itself or be able to clip it onto something. My biggest quirk is that for some strange reason, sometimes one headphone doesnt turn on when you take it out of the case. You have to reconnect it into the case and wait a second, then put it back on. This process sometimes has to be done a few times until it turns on.
The earphones itself are flawless, sound is amazing however one of the earbuds constantly disconnects and doesn’t charge properly. It is so annoying to see left one 99% charged while right one is 0% right before going to gym. Eventually I ended up checking whether they are both charging using the iPhone’s charging widget every time plugging them and it was fine. One day out of nowhere the right one stopped working completely. It wouldn’t connect at all. Only the left one. I’ve searched and tried everything to make it work but forgetting the buds was the biggest mistake. Now neither of them works. It is due to a software update and it seems like only left one got the update. Apple win’t fix it and will ask like 300$ to fix it. Horrible customer service.
I purchased these 8 months ago for use at work so I could listen to music or audio from videos. I thought paying extra for a good name would be wise. I was wrong.Less than five months after purchase the right earbud went completely dead. It shows a full charge when connected but no sound comes out of it. I was very unhappy to have a failure this soon but I continued to use the left earbud when I had to listen to audio from a video. Obviously the sound quality was poor but it got the job done for the few times I used it any more.I went to use the earbud today and now the left one has also died. I definitely won't be buying these again. Now to make matters worse. I contacted Apple for warranty and was told I had to go through BestBuy. I went to the BestBuy store where I purchased them, with all the original paperwork and the box they came in, and was told I would have to deal with Apple! Apparently the claimed 1 year warranty is useless.
Look great, sound great, charge quick. While they hold a charge for a while, one of the only downsides of these Powerbeats Pros are the overall battery life. Within about 2 years of semi-consistent use, I noticed they stopped holding a charge for any length of time. Maybe thats normal, but for what Apple charges for these things, you'd think they'd have longer life. The other issue is the connectivity. I use an iPhone, and sometimes (very randomly), one of the buds won't turn on when i put it in my ear. It happened with the first pair I bought as well and usually just involves putting both back in the case, closing the lid, and then putting them back in my ears again. 90% of the time, that fixes the issue. There’s no need for an app with the beats Pro if you’re using Apple iOS. The case is really convenient, and keeps your earbuds charged in the case. Also has an Apple lightning jack on the back for use with the standard Apple lightning cables to charge both the case battery, and the buds. I have literally spent thousands of dollars, last count in excess of 6000 on headsets over the years, and these are the only ones to stay on my head and remain comfortable, even in high temperatures. When you’re doing outdoor activities all the others tend to slip off eventually, but these wrap around your ear nicely, and at least for me, manage to stay in. If you open the case next to your iPhone it will automatically pop up on the screen the amount of charge on the case itself, as well as the charge on the buds. If you remove one of the buds from the case, the screen on your iPhone will automatically show you the charge on each individual bud, as well as the charge on the case. If you’re someone that has activities outdoors and you need to wear both buds or even one bud, you can answer calls from either bud because each bud has controls for answering calls. You can wear them one at a time too, so it’s legal for driving or riding a bike. If it weren’t for the slightly tinny sound, I would give them five stars. I recommend them, and I’ve already bought a set as a gift.
