For the price, these should be a lot better; I returned them the day after I got them because my older, cheaper earbuds sounded better. The bass is nothing special, the quality is alright, not too bad but it's very disappointing when you look at the price tag of $150. Not satisfying to listen to music with them if you care about good sound quality. My old $60 Skullcandy Sesh earbuds sound much better than these. They try to be clever by showing in the directions that you're supposed to push them in and down into your ear and they will fit perfectly, but it was incredibly uncomfortable for me to do and it didn't make it any better when I did so. It's also really inconvient, and I have normal sized ears so I feel like that aspect is a big miss. Overall they should be much better than they are and I don't understand the high price tag. Second Beats earbuds that I've had and neither of them have sounded particularly good in my opinion. I can't recommend these for the high price and lack of quality.

Oh, and it’s in the “Find My” app. Active noise cancellation works quite well too, though I haven’t really tried out transparency mode since I don’t like it in general. Finally, they do stay in the ear quite well. I’ve only gone on walks with these but I’m sure they’ll fit quite snug while I’m on a run. What doesn’t work? At this price point, it kind of makes sense, but it’s lacking the feature where when you take it out of your ear it pauses. It’s a small gripe, and something I do miss, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Then the case… it’s poorly made and plastic feeling. It’s also really slippery. If one day I drop these and they go down the sewers, well, I wouldn’t be all that surprised. It’s too bad that there’s no wireless charging either. But I guess it’s fine at this price point. All in all, this will hold me over quite well I imagine while I wait for the AirPod Pros 2. I would recommend these in a heartbeat.

As someone who has owned both the AirPods Pro and these particular Beats, I can say the Beats are the closest you can get for almost half the cost (when on sale). My AirPods died on me and I was consider getting another pair. But I saw these on sale and thought I should give them a shot.PROS: Great Battery Life, Small and stylish, Haptic Controls, Punchy EQ, Apple exclusive features, USB-C charging.CONS: Case is bulky, Hinge on the case seems weak, connects to my phone while in the case sometimes, bass can be much for softer genres of music, Transparency mode is very weak.Obviously something like Sony or Anker would be competitive enough but they lack one thing which is Apple compatibility. Being able to set specific settings, such as the Find My feature and pair with ease with no delay are important to me.Do they sound better than the AirPods Pro? The short answer is no. They get close to the sound signature but are punchier on the lows. Bass is heavy which is great for hip hop and dance music but for rock or acoustic it is grating sometimes and drowns out the vocals. Setting the EQ to flat is a good suggestion BUT remember that now it become average for hip hop. I do love the sound overall, just wish they weren’t so punchy. The battery life is better on the Beats with ANC on and off then the AirPods Pro. They use USB C which is WAY BETTER than using lightning. Speaking of ANC, these are shockingly close in terms of the AirPods. The AirPods Pro so a better job at both ANC and Transparency modes, but they’re definitely better than most mid range competitors.Overall, I’m gonna have to say this is the first pair of Beats I approve anyone to buy. They’re great replacements and worth saving the extra bucks.

It's better to have these guys in noise cancelling mode. Because in transparency mode: it just sounds like a lot of air or wind going through your ear. Taking away the main focal point of listening to your surroundings as clear as possible.Nevertheless: I prefer to listen to music on the beats due to the heavier bass and color I noticed within the music. Plus, having them in noise cancellation mode 100% of the time isn't bad especially if you don't wanna be bothered.Buy them. They're worth it.
I purchased these for my husband. He has the Powerbeats Pro totally wireless earbuds, but there is something wrong with the battery, and they won’t stay charged long anymore (I have these also, and mine work just fine). So, I made this purchase during a sale before Christmas. It was a great deal, as the sale price was good. My husband only thinks they are “ok” and still wants a new set of the Powerbeats Pro totally wireless. My personal complaint is when I am talking to him and he is wearing these new tiny earbuds, the sound quality is completely inconsistent. Sometimes I can hear him well, other times I can barely hear him. Background noises come across as very loud. My biggest dislike is the echo I hear. Sometimes I can hear him well, other times I can barely hear him. Background noises come across as very loud. My biggest dislike is the echo I hear. It’s not constant, but when it’s there, it drives me crazy because I hear an echo of everything I am saying to him. Quite frankly, it’s hard to have a conversation like that because it sounds like someone else is talking the entire time you are as well. My husband doesn’t hear the echo, but I do, and I think if anyone tries to use these earbuds for phone calls is going to find that everyone they talk to will complain about hearing an echo. So, my conclusion is that if you like really tiny earbuds, and you only want them for music or other audio to listen to, then these may work fine, especially if they are on a good sale. They could be exactly what you want. However, if you plan on using these for phone calls, I think you will be dissatisfied. They work if you have to use them, but the quality is far inferior to the Powerbeats Pro totally wireless earbuds.
These buds have potential as a basic set of in-home entertainment earbuds, but endded up having more cons than pros for me. Starting with the positive, a main pro is its pretty good sound at this price in the earbud category. Its not going to rival even a decent pair of cans, but for listening to TV, Music, or even basic gaming at home, these arent bad. Decent punchy bass for action, fairly clear mids and highs. Nothing that’ll blow you away, and not really what I would use for getting lost in Tchaikovsky, but also noticibly better than buds at or below they’re price point. Connecting to devices also generally works well and goes without a hitch. That being said, there are lots of cons. The main 2 for me are battery life and the case. The battery life for these is ... Connecting to devices also generally works well and goes without a hitch. That being said, there are lots of cons. The main 2 for me are battery life and the case. The battery life for these is about 5 hours with my iphone and about 3 hours with my computer. Not much. I’m currently trying to see what different set of buds I want now to use while these are charging, so, yeah. Also, the case is verrry annoying. It tries overly hard to snap shut at all times just because of how slippery and awkward the design is. You’ll be trying to get them out one late night in the living room and… SNAP! Over and over again, making noise that’s sure to wake your significant other and children up. Also, no wireless charging, which, i get these aren’t $200 bucks, but if I can buy a charging puck for 5 bucks, the tech can’t be that exspensive to add and really would have given a reason for the cheapo case. Not a big gripe unless your environment is set up to do it, really makes things easier. Also notable, the buds do stick out a bit and have a physical button on them, so you wont be able to set your head on its side while wearing them, such as on a pillow. They are also pretty susceptible to interference and easy signal blocking. And, a personal gripe, they don’t tend to stay in my ear very well while doing anything of basic activity, we’re talking even just washing the car. That’s more of a problem with my ear I suppose, but seems a pretty common gripe, so just go in knowing that. So, yeah, 3 out of 5 from me.
Let me start by saying these are extremely comfortable and fit well. I find it difficult to find ear buds Im not constantly readjusting to fit well in my ear. The sound quality is 5/5. It’s more balanced than you would expect for beats since they are known for their heavy bass. Don’t get me wrong though the bass is still there! The passive noise mode works great I dont even need to take them out to hold a conversation. The noise canceling is pretty good, it doesnt block out extremely loud stuff if your music is on pause but with music playing you cant hear a thing in the world around you! Which is understandable since they are ear buds and not ear plugs. The worst thing about them is they advertise 8 hours of playtime and that’s supposedly without ANC (noise ... I use transparency mode at work all night so I think it does use extra battery like the ANC would and Im getting close to 4 hours and some minutes from them before needing a charge. The case charges the headphones pretty quickly Im pretty sure 30 minutes or less gives you 100% juice so its not awful to charge them for a few minutes here and there but I could see this being an issue for someone traveling longer than 4 hours at a time who were hoping for the ANC.
I needed a new pair of headphones in the spare of the moment to replace my Airpods Pro. For the amount of money spent on these, I maybe should have just got another pair of Airpods to be honest. Although I’ve been a fan of Dre Beats headphones in the past, having these new wireless beats have me been the absolute best. For starters, their really hard to take out the case sometimes and will even fall out and you can lose one if not careful. Especially comparing them to the airpods pro, those do a much better job with noise cancellation and the sound quality of music playing is ok. And Lastly they definitely aren’t comfortable staying in my ear for a long time. It often falls out and it’s very hard to keep them positioned. Overall the battery life is ok. I will say it drains a lot of juice to recharge them compared to the airpods case, which can be annoying. Definitely going to just get another pair of AirPods and maybe sell these bad boys
I've had these earbuds for roughly 2.5 months, and I am already unhappy with them.I thought I just needed some time to get used to them, but that isn't the case - they've only got worse.Every time you try to adjust these, you will either mute your music or hangup your call because of a major design flaw. They are very sensitive and just slightly touching either earbud will allow you to press the button that is present on either one of them. This button will mute or hangup. There is a setting in the app to change what pressing the button does for calls, so you can make it a double press to hangup, but nothing for pausing media. So that's super annoying. The right earbud, at least for me, seems to cut out frequently. Not entirely, it's just an annoying crackle ... So that's super annoying. The right earbud, at least for me, seems to cut out frequently. Not entirely, it's just an annoying crackle sound for a second. This is probably just a defect in my pair. Whatever. These earbuds have terrible range. Don't plan on moving more than 10 feet way from both the case and connected Bluetooth device, otherwise you will begin to lose connection.Aside from these complaints, they are fairly average earbuds. The quality is nothing I couldn't have found cheaper, elsewhere. I like to purchase from the same brands that I trust, but this time, Beats let me down. Would not recommend.,
