For the price, these should be a lot better; I returned them the day after I got them because my older, cheaper earbuds sounded better. The bass is nothing special, the quality is alright, not too bad but it's very disappointing when you look at the price tag of $150. Not satisfying to listen to music with them if you care about good sound quality. My old $60 Skullcandy Sesh earbuds sound much better than these. You may as well buy those and save yourself a lot of money. The case is better than the Sesh but still should (and surely could) have been much smaller. Second Beats earbuds that I've had and neither of them have sounded particularly good in my opinion. I can't recommend these for the high price and lack of quality.

A great alternative to AirPod Pros

I used to have Airpods Gen 2 and currently had AirPod Pros. My Pros started to crackle and since they were out of warranty Apple was charging me to replace the faulty one. Anyways, venturing to look for headphones that were wireless, had active noise cancellation, and played well with the Apple ecosystem was kind of slim pickings. They get close to the sound signature but are punchier on the lows. Bass is heavy which is great for hip hop and dance music but for rock or acoustic it is grating sometimes and drowns out the vocals. Setting the EQ to flat is a good suggestion BUT remember that now it become average for hip hop. I do love the sound overall, just wish they weren’t so punchy.The battery life is better on the Beats with ANC on and off then the AirPods Pro. They use USB C which is WAY BETTER than using lightning. Speaking of ANC, these are shockingly close in terms of the AirPods. The AirPods Pro so a better job at both ANC and Transparency modes, but they’re definitely better than most mid range competitors.Overall, I’m gonna have to say this is the first pair of Beats I approve anyone to buy. They’re great replacements and worth saving the extra bucks.

He has the Powerbeats Pro totally wireless earbuds, but there is something wrong with the battery, and they won’t stay charged long anymore (I have these also, and mine work just fine). So, I made this purchase during a sale before Christmas. It was a great deal, as the sale price was good. My husband only thinks they are “ok” and still wants a new set of the Powerbeats Pro totally wireless. My personal complaint is when I am talking to him and he is wearing these new tiny earbuds, the sound quality is completely inconsistent. Not a big gripe unless your environment is set up to do it, really makes things easier. Also notable, the buds do stick out a bit and have a physical button on them, so you wont be able to set your head on its side while wearing them, such as on a pillow. They are also pretty susceptible to interference and easy signal blocking. And, a personal gripe, they don’t tend to stay in my ear very well while doing anything of basic activity, we’re talking even just washing the car. That’s more of a problem with my ear I suppose, but seems a pretty common gripe, so just go in knowing that. So, yeah, 3 out of 5 from me.

The case charges the headphones pretty quickly Im pretty sure 30 minutes or less gives you 100% juice so its not awful to charge them for a few minutes here and there but I could see this being an issue for someone traveling longer than 4 hours at a time who were hoping for the ANC.

Although I’ve been a fan of Dre Beats headphones in the past, having these new wireless beats have me been the absolute best. For starters, their really hard to take out the case sometimes and will even fall out and you can lose one if not careful. Two, the connection sometimes stinks when connecting to my iPhone 13 pro max. Three, the sound quality with noise cancellation isn’t necessarily the best at all people can still hear background noise and so can you, even while listening to music, that’s a huge fail for me. I've had these earbuds for roughly 2.5 months, and I am already unhappy with them.I thought I just needed some time to get used to them, but that isn't the case - they've only got worse.Every time you try to adjust these, you will either mute your music or hangup your call because of a major design flaw. They are very sensitive and just slightly touching either earbud will allow you to press the button that is present on either one of them. This button will mute or hangup. There is a setting in the app to change what pressing the button does for calls, so you can make it a double press to hangup, but nothing for pausing media.
