Beauty of Joseon Sun Relief Aqua Fresh

I used this sunscreen for a month now and it has been amazing for my skin! I have acne prone combination skin and this sunscreen is so lightweight, hydrating, and gets absorbed into the skin really easily! The main ingredients of the sunscreen are 30% Rice water and Pantenol which are great for sensitive skin! This sunscreen has no white cast, not greasy, not sticky and has been amazing for me. I use it everyday and will definitely repurchase! If you have acne prone or sensitive skin I definitely recommend this new version of the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen!

Don't leave the house without it!

I honestly didn't think this was going to be the sunscreen for me. I have oily and acne prone skin. When I put this on after my hydrating toner, serum, and light moisturizer, this went on totally smooth, silky, and left a refreshing skin finish. It's not super glossy or too dewey if that's what you're looking for. Just has that natural skin glow that lasts a long time and it sets PERFECTLY. I haven't had this for long, but this sun screen so far is non irritating, no white cast, no stingy eyes, NO BREAKOUTS with DAILY USE, and I can't wait to put it on for the day! Next holy grail sunscreen? I think so! Thanks for the trial with my order! My current tube is ALMOST GONE and I can't wait to add it back in my basket with my next order!

Excellent new SPF

I was curious about this new SPF from Beauty of Joseon as a have their original relief sun rice plus probiotics which is lovely. This new version, relief sun aqua fresh is as promised lighter on the skin and is more quickly absorbed. So far it has not dried out my dry-ish mature skin, but I do use a lot of toner and serums and a moisturizer before putting any sunscreen on my face.It has rice extract like the original one and does not irritate my sensitive eye area! Do I like it better than the original? Not so far, but probably would if I had oily skin. All in all, I like it. It´s a solid good nonirritating elegant sunscreen.

Game changer!

I've been using beauty of joseon for my suncreen for a while now. I've repurchased the original one a few times and while I loved it, I always felt like it left my skin a bit oily. I've tried the sun stick and it works a lot better because it's matte, but liquid is better for protection.That's where this one shines! It's perfect for oily, acne prone skin. It doesn't leave a matte finish but it doesn't make my skin more oily. And it works so nicely underneath makeup! I will definitely be repurchasing. It's my new go-to sunscreen!

Kind of Matte

The original BOJ sunscreen that went viral was too moisturizing and glowy for my insanely oily skin. This newer version is indeed more matte, but it is not matte per se. It leaves a slight shine, not nearly as severe as most sunscreens, but it is there. If you looking for a dewy finish, you would probably be happy with it. Feels good on skin and has zero white cast. I will definitely finish the entire tube (I have thrown away so many sunscreens after one or two wears because they were truly incompatible with my skin). If you are looking for a truly matte sunscreen, try the Missha Soft Finish (pink cap)

Lovely texture but not great with makeup

I was gifted this for my honest review. To start off, I really like how lightweight this is, and I really like the texture. it went on well, didn't smell bad, didn't make my eyes burn. I let it dry and then while putting on my makeup, I saw it started pilling. Now massively, not horrifically, but it was. I'm not sure if it was maybe reacting to my foundation or my skincare, but I didn't love that. I'll use it on days I'm not going to be wearing makeup, because I really do enjoy this, and I'll probably try it again with different skin prep and foundations.

Pills Too Much

Oh dear, I wanted to like this. The bottle is gorgeous and it applied so well with a decent but not overly dewy finish. Sadly, it wasn't even 15 minutes after application until I noticed pilling near my hairline, eyebrows, and elbows. (Apologies for the unclear photos.) A light pass of my fingers over my neck, applying nearly no pressure, yields bunched up granules. I haven't attempted reapplication and don't wish to. Sunscreen is meant to form a uniform film over your skin for maximum UV protection - some see pilling as a simple nuisance, I see it as a failure to meet this pivotal requirement. I might order this again in the winter to see if the pilling is due to the hot temperatures during transit altering the formula, but I'll have to wait until a sale comes by ... MoreOh dear, I wanted to like this. glow up giveaway review

Got this from a glow up giveaway. I was always interested in trying the original BOJ relief sun sunscreen but always heard it wasn't suited for oily skin types. Thankfully, they came out with a sunscreen suited for oily skin and YesStyle offered it as a glow up giveaway. It's very lightweight and moisturizing but not too moisturizing that it makes you look too oily. Comparing it to the isntree sun gel, I prefer the BOJ aqua fresh sunscreen more as the isntree sun gel is a bit more dewy in my opinion. However, both are great sunscreens to use. I would like to try getting the BOJ sunstick to see how that pairs with the aqua fresh sunscreen next time.
