Was hoping this bed frame would be good, love the simplistic design but the slats are terrible quality, they are too short and were difficult to screw into both sides therefore some of them fall down constantly, gave myself a splinter last night trying to put two back in place.We are also constantly kicking our feet on the leg that is in the middle (not shown in the photo it seems) obviously it's there for extra support but it's just super annoying when making the bed.The bed frame is not even, some sections are higher off the ground than others. It creaks when you move in it which is quite frustrating when sleeping as it's not quiet.

Packaging and delivery were faultless. The bed was fairly easy (for a woman!) to assemble. I found some of the small pieces difficult. I did have concerns about the strength of the slats, they seemed to be very flimsy and I wondered how I could add strength to them; however by the time I put the mattress on top and had a well earned lie down, I was satisfied they were strong enough. It is rather low, but easy enough to get up and down from. On the plus side, the bed is not heavy to move and things can be stored underneath and somewhere for my cat to hide during a thunder storm, (maybe room for me too). With a new velvet cover and cushions to match, it will look neat as a divan. So thanks to the manufactures for a good product and well priced.

It's a simple cheap bed frame. It was good value for money, comparing to IKEA it's similar quality and assembly process. I'm not sure whether it was our uneven timber floor or the bed being slightly skewed as I put it together; it does not sit entirely flat, one corner needed propping up. Delivery with Fastway was delayed and I'd avoid those couriers again if possible. Package was ripped and missing two non-vital pieces. Overall Ok.

My hopes took a dive when I read all the Google reviews where customers complained that their goods arrived only after months of waiting, or arrived looking different to and especially smaller than the illustrations, or never arrived, or that communication with MyDeal was difficult or impossible. I guess I got lucky? 'cos mine came from who-knows-where quickly (i.e. in about 5 + 3 working days) in two boxes that Fastway Couriers delivered to my local collection point - a Mum and Pop grocery store - in two consignments. At first, I thought I'd received only half a bed base, but a few days later I got notice that the second box was waiting for me.Lots of pine. Instructions are pretty clear, but illustrations didn't specify which way-up to place 2X cross pieces, so, as a longtime Resistenialist*, I was not at all surprised when my choices proved to be the wrong ones.I had to dismantle and re-attach those recalcitrant cross-pieces, which set me back about 30-40 minutes. All together, the base took about 3 hours to assemble, but mostly because there was a lot of (100+) fiddly nuts, bolts and screws etc that had to be matched. Size-wise, the base is perfect for our needs: great as a back-up bed in Spare-oom, but I have my doubts about its capacity to handle regular use. I can't yet comment definitively on strength or durability, but unlike other customers' reported experiences, it didn't collapse the first time my wife or I lay on it.*Objects resist humans at every opportunity. They are against us.

ordering was easy, arrived in a few business days, was easy to put together. overall the bed is good but its a bit squeaky.. but hopefully thats something i can fix

Defective wooden parts for KS bedframe

The photo looks good but when I received the item there was a few defects in the wooden pieces so I was not able to put the bed together for my son to sleep on. I have contacted Myer and was told they will replace the parts for me but I got another email asking me to upload more photos when I have already provided photos previously.Quality of wood are not strong, very flimsy and the workmanship are not that good too as it’s not possible to put the nails in as the woods was not cut properly and am still waiting for the replacement parts as I did contact Myer 3 times already.Myer normally is very good with these kind of problems but not sure why this time is like this. The lady that helped me did put urgent for me.

Slats are a little thin so got a couple from hardware shop to reinforce. Would like a little more space underneath for trundle but very nice

Love the look not the quality

Love the look of it and colour and how it sits low but not too low. However, it’s not very good quality, it comes delivered in pieces half the size of its length and some of the wood snapped as I tried to drill it into place. Am scared it will break!

Wooden mattress base.
