Was disappointed that after 1 cook the paint started coming off the hot plate, making it look pretty shabby. Was this meant to happen. Now I’m afraid of it rusting

Great BBQ solid steel plate, cooks well. only one set of wheels swivel, they should be fixed as it is hard to direct the BBQ in the direction wanted.
Great bbq for those tired of cleaning grills. The solid plate keeps all the mess on top or in the front drip cup where it can be cleaned after each cook. Forgiving surface, very thick plate means no hotspots. Love the fact you can shift items along the plate to cooler spots as they cook, keeping them warm and preventing overcooking. As it's a flat top, no hood, so if I want to bake or steam I use an inverted stainless steel mixing bowl that I've screwed a handle onto.Minimal effort required for initial setup (fold the legs out and install the cross brace).
I bought this two weeks out from Christmas and love it. Use is 4-5 times a week. The 5mm steel plate heats evenly and is so easy to clean. Season it properly.This was very heavy in the box , but when you assemble it you realise how much weight is in the steel top plate. Quality build but for some strange reason they supply you with an American gas bottle attachment. Wheels are great for moving it around with ease.Worth the money.
What a great barbecue!Very high quality. Super easy to setup and use. Fat drainage system is very smart and keeps everything nice and clean.
Brought Jan 2022 and had read reviews saying paint flaked off , thought it just unhappy customers as product looked good , started buy cooking in with oil and 5 min high heat ,let cool then 10 min then 15 . First 2 BBQ was a good experience but 3rd paint flaked off . Really dissatisfied with product and wished I had listened to reviews, company does not seemed interested in helping so don't buy.
Bought this BBQ and after securing the brace for the legs was disappointed with ease of screws for Gas bottle holder and carry bars. The screws seemed to go in half way and then wouldnt go in futher. Confirmed correct screws used and would not recommend.Will see how hot plate goes but for cost of BBQ, very disappointed in workmanship.
Purchased a few weeks ago. Soild build and seen in actions so I'm pretty confident it will bbq to the standard for its price (even heat, soild surface plate etc.) instructions that come with it are for the shelf model version. Although it can be worked out it should come with clearer instructions.Overall looking forward to my first cook, given its built quality I'm sure this will be around for a few years.
