As a citrus fruit, I personally think orange is underused in the gin industry. There have been a few other orange gins but I always found these to be either far too strong with too much of a plastic orange aftertaste or leaving you thinking 'Where was the orange'? Beefeater have made great progress with this 'Blood Orange' gin with a bold and zingy orange taste that compliments the normal juniper, coriander and liquorish flavours. This will be a lovely alternative to drinking a pink gin in the summer months outside on the patio!

Citrusy gins are my favourite and this one is great. The colour is so bright and certainly stands out! The flavour is great too, very refreshing. Works well in cocktails or just on its own with tonic, ice and a slice of orange.

What a fabulous drink with tonic. I can't wait for summer to have these with a BBQ! Gave the drink a beautiful orange colour which was impressive. Great citrus flavor. Light and super refreshing. Very easy to drink and the smell of the oranges makes you feel a bit like you're on holiday. Makes a refreshing twist to an Aperol Spritz ! Lovely served in a gin balloon glass with lots of ice an a slice of orange. I honestly think this drink is LUSH!

A great tasting addition to anyone's gin collection. Really nice taste which is both strong and vibrant and adds a layer to the drink. Can be mixed with soft drinks to accompany or even added to various cocktails really versatile product. Will definitely buy again
I really like orange gins, and this one was no exception. I tend to take it with lemonade or sprite as I prefer that to tonic and it makes a nice sweet drink but it also allows the fruit flavour to come through very well. It had a nice colour too, so will be a nice addition to the festive drinks cabinet.
We had this gin at a friend's house last weekend and loved it so much that we bought a bottle ourselves. Personally I like it with quite a lot of tonic to make it a long drink. My tendency is to go for flavoured gins because I find the standard original gins too bitter for my taste buds. My only criticism is the colour. It reminds me of Iron Bru which is why I marked it at a four star! The flavour is definitely a five star.
Just received this in today's delivery and tried it neat - deeeelicious!! I imagine this will go really well in a negroni, but for now I'm supping it with Asda's own lemon and lime tonic water and it's really hitting the spot in the heat! Highly recommended!
Been drinking this for about a year now and it?s one of my favourite flavoured gins. I always have it with lemonade or soda and it?s just a nice change. Much more complex flavour than normal orange and just works well. I think because it?s a bit more bitter it balances out better with the sweetness of pop
This is most definitely an orange gin ? the colour is very vibrant. I enjoyed it initially in my usual way; over ice and tonic. However, as it?s so cold outside I looked on Beefeater?s own site for some winter drink inspiration, and what a treat. I tried their recipe for a Hot Choc Orange and it was so good I may have to order a lot more in time for Christmas. Beefeater have come up trumps again with a gin that?s full of flavour. You can?t miss the orange flavour but it?s not too sweet or overpowering.
I have wanted to try an Orange Gin for some time and as a fan of Blood Oranges this seemed the ideal fit. I'm glad I opted for Beefeater Blood Orange. I tried it neat at first and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely aroma of the Orange and the smoothness of the gin. The Orange flavour really came through, it wasn't sweet but quite zesty and fruity. I then tried with tonic and this was very refreshing and tasty. A real hit, I would recommend Beefeater Blood Orange and will buy again.
