To my delight, no noise whatsoever was heard through the PA system even as I turned up the volume. No humming noise...what a relief! I was happy that I finally heard the beautiful bright clean sound of my acoustic-electric guitar through the church's PA system. Even our bass player sounded happy when he told me he could hear my guitar sound good. I know it's early for me to give a review about this product but I give it a Two Thumbs Up already for great features, solid/sturdy construction, great pricing...So far the manufacturer Behringer has delivered its promise. Just buy it and have fun!

I purchased this item because it's a little bit cheap and proven of my friends. I used it in small gigs, guitar sounds great and it was incredible. The sound is clear with no noise or feedback. Received nice with the packaged and delivery is fast. I've been purchasing a lot with this music shop and never had a problem. Best music shop and will purchased a lot more in the future.
Love this DI box as it reduces noise fairly well. Like the extra output of TRS. So with the other DI boxes, I just wish I don't have to replace the 9v batteries so often as I forget it's on when I'm not playing.
This Behringer Ultra Di100 is an item for the gig traveller, studio engineer, homerecorder or whoever wants a balanced and noise free sound reaching the other side of the gear. I love the rubber corners and how they protect the unit on stage environment. Been using the DI100's for some years now and never had a fail with it, specially on the road. In studio it can be more efficient and suitable than the rack versions. Always have a pair on the bag wherever I go.In terms of performance it does the job greatly, a real work horse. The only thing I'd love to see on it is a phase invert switch on it and it would be perfect.
I already own one of these along with the Guitar DI. All have worked as expected, providing clean audio in live and studio situations. I usually run this DI on phantom power and only occasionally via battery. The battery compartment is a bit fiddly, but I'm patient so it was not a problem for me. These do not see heavy use, so I cannot comment on that type of situation. I like the fact that it is an active DI. It sounds a bit better than the Little IMPs I own, but that may be due entirely to the higher output compared to the passive Little IMP. It has proven rugged also. Mine have been stepped on and dropped without issue. I'm not a huge fan of Behringer, especially their amps and some of the mixers they make, but this unit, along with the ADA8000, have served me well.

They worked great in a live sound situation up until 2017. Both boxes exhibited a high amount of hiss that was unacceptable. Swapped one out with a newer D100 and the hiss disappeared. Same for the other box. It apeared that they both had developed "electronic" problems. Unfortunately these are at a price that makes them disposable. The bench charge alone at the authorized repair facility nearest my location along with shipping costs would equal 2 new boxes. When they work they are great. Our church obtained a new electronic organ which was having issues when plugged into the sound system through a passive direct box. The organ would not function properly while connected, much less put sound out over the system. My instinctive thought was that the power output of the organ was not adequate to drive the sound to the main amp. Not knowing much about the technical side of it, I purchased this direct box after much research and deliberation. Anyway, it just arrived and it works flawlessly! I am very pleased.
