Bought this to use as a monitor for some of the smaller shows that we do and it works great. Decent power and good sound, especially considering the price. I also decided to try to use it with my Roland TD-11 kit and it works really well in that application as well. I have a Roland PM-10 which is specifically designed for Roland kits and it sounds great with just the drums, but when I mix in some music it starts breaking up. The F1320D does not sound quite as crisp as the Roland PM-10, but it handles the extra load when mixing in music without clipping.I would definitely recommend this speaker as a stage monitor or for use with Roland other other electronic drum kits. Probably would work well as a keyboard monitor as well.

This makes a great close proximity cross fire monitor. Place at ear level with pole mount and set at a moderate volume for very smooth response. Have not had to use the feedback control but that would be good in low ceiling conditions of reflective surfaces such as tin, smooth finish sheet rock etc. No more floor monitor cranked up to feedback levels. It does work well for the drummer on the floor however. We daisy chain them and that is a great feature if you do not have separate sends for each unit. This speaker is easy to see/reach the controls and very versatile (mini PA speaker in a small venue)Good Job Berhinger! your engineers pay attention. - a satisfied customer who does not lug around a pig of and amp rack any more.

Great product with sensational service!

Greatly loud. Crisp Highs, punchy and lots of controls to dial it in. Perfect for our Sound Reinforcement.

Strong Monitor with Active power amp. Works well for Monitor out with the Berringer 500 watt mixer. Two of these will make my setup 1100 watts which is louder than most anything. You can shake your house and make cracks in the walls with your subs and these as the highs. Big sound and you'll like the frequency setup for making adjustments - check out the feedback control. You can dial it in to the perfect sound. Punchy mids, better low bottom than 4x12 celestions or my Peavy Scorpions - and these come with super crisp highs. It's all in there. Very versatile. Will drown out your bottom end (I'm using Yamaha 15's with horns for the low - end with the Berringers for the highs and it's louder than any big amphitheater. Multi monitor uses
28 September 2017

It is hard to find a powered monitor that can be used to monitor a voice, an instrument or a line out from the board. This is a multipurpose speaker that lets you hear only what you want to hear.Sometimes I need to reinforce the clean board signal to me without effects. I hear what is going on around me, but I just need to monitor what I am doing. This works for me.Some players want a semi composite signal,... I need more me. I need a good signal reproduction of what I am doing. I am old school when it comes to ensemble work. I want an accurate reproduction of my signal chain and this monitor does that.Clean, clear and defineable without amplified color. Works with Classic rock, Blues, and Jazz fusion tones.

Nice monitors
30 December 2013

I ordered two of these, one came with a blown speaker but guitar center quickly sent me out a new one. These monitors worked just as we wanted. We use them at our church as monitors for our singers. I haven't tested them out at extremely high volumes because it's not necessary for our setup but the audio quality is quite nice. We don't use the feedback feature as we don't have that issue but when I did test it out just out of curiosity it did change the audio quality quite a bit which I didn't like. Other than our mixers built in channel eq's and the monitors built in eq we have no other eq connected. I'm basing the audio quality off of our Yamaha C112V's. All I can say is not bad at all and am happy with the purchase. As stated by another reviewer it is ... MoreI ordered two of these, one came with a blown speaker but guitar center quickly sent me out a new one. These monitors worked just as we wanted. Even though we connect ours directly to our mixer it would have been nice if we could have connected an ipod or something while up on stage also.

Only marginally pleased
14 November 2015

If you go above 1/2 volume, they clip like crazy, they start to hiss, and start to distort. They're ok as monitors when needs are minimal, but I wish I'd spent more and gone with a better brand. The sound quality just isn't very good. If you're running good quality guitars and amps, mic's, etc., these really degrade the sound on stage. I would never aim these at an audience. On the plus side they have been reliable and the cabinet shape allows for additional flexibility in aiming the sound. The sweep filter can be handy. Bottom line is... cheap is cheap. If sound quality is important to you, spend more and buy something better.

Piece of Junk
25 January 2013

I had to use it on a very low volume. As low as it will go without it being completly silent. Otherwise I would get terrible feedback (even with the "feedback filter" on). I moved the microphone way back and it still got feedback when the volume on the speaker was up just a little. The overall sound is not that good, very nasal sounding. I don't know if the speaker is ripped or damaged but it crackled and popped when I put any kind of effort into singing. Not yelling just normal singing. So im taking mine back EXTREMELY disapointed. I have had very bad luck with Behringer products. I called their support service to explain why is was crackling and popping, they said to try a different power source...So I did but it continued to do it. On paper this thing looks great ... MoreI had to use it on a very low volume. As low as it will go without it being completly silent. Solid stage monitors, hard to beat for the price
20 April 2018

Bought 2 of these for my band about 3 years ago for stage monitors. We gig quite a bit and they have held up very well. I have not had the problem that others have had of it clipping/distorting over 1/2 volume- mine sound fine. I usually use them through a board but have also plugged mics directly in and haven't had that issue. Would definitely recommend if you need stage monitors at a reasonable price that can double as a portable speaker for practice.

Versatile, reliable, & capable
2 March 2019

I perform as a vocalist & guitarist, in Blues, Rock, Jazz, & Fusion. So being able to hear is critical. I purchased a Berhinger 122 monitor 4 years ago... and it has been so reliable, useful, and clear... With plenty of volume, that I purchased the 132. Very pleased whether I am using them on a large stage, or even the times that I use a single monitor for solo shows. Loud enough for rock stages, plus the onboard EQ is awesome. Very happy with this purchase.
