I have previously used TC Electronics tuners with which I have had no complaints. I was looking for a cheap alternative to prevent me from having to carry my usual rack of pedals for my acoustic guitar when I was only going to play bass at a gig. The Behringer fits the bill admirably. I've not experienced some of the difficulties some hard-to-please people have posted on Youtube - crikey some people are petty - and would have no hesitancy in recommending the tuner to anybody else. And the price makes it a winner. N.B. I've been a pro/semi-pro musician for over 50 years.

Behringer TU300

I have used Behringer guitar pedals previously, so the TU300 chromatic tuner was as expected - well built with good performance at an affordable price. What's not to love. I just use standard tuning, so I have not played with all the other possibilities. It works straight from the box. All you have to do is plug in the guitar and stomp the pedal. The T300 doesn't give you a ball park indication as do some tuners. Even when you get a green light, ancilliary LED indicators each side tell you if you are a fraction high or low which enables you to get perfect pitch. I recommend the T300. By the way, it has replaced a wireless tuner which was very noisy and only gave a ball park indication. The T300 is much better.

At $25, the price is certainly right on this tuner pedal. I only wish it worked better. I've used a Matrix pedal tuner for over 16 years, and it has been fast, accurate, and reliable. The Matrix still works as a tuner, but it no longer mutes when tuning. I saw this Behringer TU300 online, and liked how it looked. After receiving it, and using it on a couple of practices and gigs, I'm disappointed. First off, the A/C adapter jack is on the side, next to the guitar cord input, and is inconvenient and in the way. Most pedals have the A/C jack at the top end of the pedal, where is is unobtrusive and convenient. But a worse flaw is that the pedal is less accurate and prompt as my old Matrix. I have to take longer when tuning, trying to find an "average" with the LEDs. Other than this, the Behringer appears to be well made and reasonably sturdy. I am very gentle with my gear, so I don't worry about damages from abuse. If I can find another Matrix (they're discontinued) I will get it. I guess it's very true that you get what you pay for, and this pedal was cheap. If I were to do over, I would try out other pedals, even if I had to pay more.

Exceptional tuner for the money!

I play in a variety band almost every weekend. I needed a solid reliable tuner and I found the TU300 more than meets my needs. I have used the more popular brand pedal tuner and feature for feature this tuner is on equal ground. My band plays in flat tuning and I play Spector and Washburn 5 string basses and an Olympia 4 string Acoustic bass. I have no issue with tuning any of my basses to standard 440 or to flat or double flat tuning. The TU300 has several negative reviews but in all honesty I can find no issue with this tuner! I've used the chromatic as well as guitar and bass settings with equal ease. Great price and I bought a returned unit to boot! Good tuner pedal

This tuner pedal works almost same like Boss TU-3 tuner pedal. I bought it based on YouTube reviews, found it really good. The review says it has got very bright power indicator LED which blinds to see the tuner LED's. But the pedal I received didn't have this problem, I think Behringer guys rectified this in the new production batches. This pedal is bit slow in responding (which I can live with) but gives accurate tuning. I took this pedal to quite a few gigs, it has never failed me (I bought it in Jan-15). Now this sits on my Bass guitarist's pedal-board, and he takes it to every gig we go, has never failed him too (he has got a 4-string Ibanez SR-300 bass). Look out Boss TU-2

Great product, especially for at home users.Tuning is incredibly accurate.Only con is I don't think it's built for the stage or road life, as it's made out of plastic. Having said that, if you're light on your gear, this might actually work. Either way, for $35 you can't go wrong!

Pretty Good Tuner

I have had one of these for a couple of years and use it all the time at rehearsals and performances. It is reliable. On the down side it is a bit slow on picking up the signal (takes about a second or two), but nothing I can't live with. At times recently it has been a little dicey. Like not picking up the G string for a little bit. I was thinking that it was going out. Then I was trouble shooting a new peddle build, and I was using the power adapter that I had purchased with the peddle. I couldn't get stable meter readings. A first I thought it was the circuit but then I pulled the power adapter and checked it. The voltage in my 9v adapter was going all over the place and never up to 9v. Review of Behringer TU300 Tuner

I bought this to tune my oscillators in my Eurorack systems. I found it perfect for the job and not too expensive. Sure there are other ways to dial in the root notes but for the price...why would you not get one?

Wouldn't pay full price for it!

It tunes just fine, but the settings feel a little counter intuitive. There is a basic instruction manual that comes and list parts of the pedal. That is it. It even references operators manual here, but one cannot be found online. It doesn't come with a power cable, huge letdown. It also did not like a couple of my guitar cables in the input jack; it actually pushed them out which kills the signal since there is no on off switch.
