Yes- its Behringer and yes its cheap but it really does the job / weighs nothing and fits in my Jumbo Turners case because its small! I normally play thru a Hall of fame Reverb / Boss chorus / Boss Delay and Behringer Noise reduction pedal into a Sherwood Acoustic amp as monitor and I get exactly the sound I want thru the P.A with this; Works for my budget!

My fender acoustic w/ Fishman electronics sounded thin and runny when plugged in and I always just summed that up to the price tag. My friend, who's a sound engineer explained what a DI doesn't and that I needed one-even a cheap one. Behringer was my first thought and I'm not disappointed. By boosting the signal to mic level, it sounds fuller and clean, because you don't have to boost with gain (which also boosts floor noise). I'll buy these for the rest of my life.

I bought this for studio use with the occasional live show. It doesnt seem to altar sound quality in any way and has been reliable. As far as Im concerned it does the same thing as the Whirlwind IMP2 for 1/3 the price. I have 3 of them and have yet to cross a defective unit. The nice thing about these is you can practically buy in bulk because if a unit does go down theyre so cheap you can just replace it without worry.
This little guy does exactly what it's supposed to. by grabbing several of these I was able to get all the string players with active pickups converted to a balanced line and then into my new snake and mixer. longer range, balanced sound, what could be bad about that?
I have complex effect chain loops feeding into a patcher where then I end up sinking to the mixer, patchers are known to introduce the ground loops hum. This piece of engineering completely lifted my earth and separated the two circuits hence entirely eliminating my hum.As usual Behringer amazes by its engineering value offering at this price range.
I was in need of multiple DI boxes and came across these in my research findings. I researched many brands and prices and went with these as I have so much invested that a deal doesn't come along everyday but these are the perfect addition that I needed. Well built and quality sound. Would work well for anyone in need.
I am a beginner bassist and this box makes my PA system sound great with no amp added. My bass has better boom with this combined with the Phonic Power Pod 620 Plus than a Roland Cube amp that I used at a local store. Really crisp clear sound and fret buzz does not come through this box and my bass has noticeable buzz when not hooked up. It is mostly due to low action though.
We got these for our gospel group, and use them with our instruments, everyone goes through the board now, and they work great.Improves instrument sound quality.had a hum in a guitar cable and flipped the switch on the DI box and it removed the hum. I recommend these boxes and we will be getting more.
