X-LIVE The X-LIVE interface card expands on the already stellar performance of the X-USB card that has been standard in X32 consoles for years. The same 32-channel bi-directional audio I/O via USB 2.0 is available, providing 32 channels for recording and playback, plus remote operation of your DAW via HUI/Mackie Control emulation. The addition of dual SD/SDHC slots provides fully independent recording and playback of up to 32 channels of uncompressed WAV files in consistent sessions up to the maximum capacity of the SD cards. Multi-channel recording without a laptop, as well as virtual sound checks, live backing-track support, accurate marker handling and manipulation, and full remote operation from PC, Android* or iPad* apps and X-TOUCH control surfaces. All of this barely begins to scratch the surface of what X-LIVE can bring to your X32.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Easy to install, easy to access and record. Files are in a muti-track wav format, but those are easy enough to convert to individual files. A big thumbs up!

you get 5+ hours of tracking (32 channels / 48 kHz ./ 24-bit) on a SD card. (You will need to find an app to do FAT32 formatting, like FAT32Format. MiniTool Partition Wizard, free version, also works. I have now installed in my full-size X-32 and both of my X-32 Racks. Allows simultaneous tracking on a laptop, so great for redundancy.

An excellent expansion to the X32 / M32 Product. Works excellently and a very useful addition saving connecting a computer for multitrack record, and cheap too!

Installed and tested in our X32 Compact within an hour including updating the card and desk software. Worked really well for record and playback on channel one when testing. We used 16 channel mode and a 32GB SD card. Card will record for 3 hours 12 mins in 16 Channel mode. Looking forward to recording a live Blues Festival this weekend.
For me it's the perfect solution for live recording. No hassle with laptops, software or cables to be able to record live sessions. Also you have the advantage when a record is available to do a virtual soundcheck. One remark : don't forget to check the routing on the console.
Good addition to an X32 mixer. Allows inidividual multitrack recording and playback. Some fiddly bits with SD card format limiting file sizes though, meaning some faff in post to extract / join though. Supported 32Gb not enough really for full session recording (yes there are 2 slots, and yes some people have had success with larger cards)The biggest missing feature IMO the inability to access the SD card files from PC/Mac over USB. You have to yank the card. Pain in the ass in a wired studio.Hot tip: Download Audacity (free) to access the multitrack WAV very easily.
Installed and used for one of our services this weekend. Firmware update, installation, and use was all extremely simple. Files sound great (are multi-track .WAV though so not the easiest to use). Only downside I can see is filesize and card size limit (32GB).
Having the ability to record 32 separate channels during a live show is simply amazing. Sure, it was possible to record before, which meant hooking up additional cables / devices, but now, all I have to do is plug in an SD card and I can start and stop the recording directly from the console. After the show, I can then remove the sd card can the board and take it to the studio, where I can transfer the files and load them into my daw. Far easier than fumbling around with a laptop and everything else.
This expansion card allows you to record up to 32 tracks simultaneously on to both SD card and a DAW via USB.This is a major upgrade to the alternatives which rely using a hard drive and a DAW on USBIt's cheaper to buy, cheaper to run and is better, what more can I say
