In face of the more heavily marketed appliances on the Australian market we decided to purchase a BEKO BDF1640AX dishwasher and couldn't be happier with the choice. The BEKO dishwasher on first inspection is extremely well engineered, has many useful functions, and is finely detailed using quality materials. Setup for remote Wi-Fi operation takes a little concentration but once completed is reliable and very useful. Having owned a number of leading brand dishwashers the BEKO BDF 1640AX has to be the quietest. All in all a very fine machine that I could highly recommend.

Beko BDF1640AX Great water and electricity rating. Great build quality. Only for tech savvy people, elderly would struggle using this machine. User manual needs to be machine specific. Numbers that can display on the LCD are not in the manual. So, what are their functions? The HomeWhiz app, don't even bother. Good machine, great price, but I think technology is changing too much, just make the machine user friendly, go back to dials and push buttons. Then everyone can use it. Ease of use is the only reason I didn't give this machine 4 or 5 stars.

Unfortunately, no fault of Beko, the second one too came with big damage to the body (mainly due to some handling issues at Wearhouse). But Beko team acknowledged this issue and with no wastage of time they delivered a new machine next day and extended their courtesy to connect the dishwasher (which generally it costs around $200). After a couple of weeks of using the machine and trying out the washer functions and options, I am fully satisfied of its cleaning capabilities and happy about buying this Beko brand. Overall, I found this Beko 1640Ax dishwasher model is impressive and does what it says in its specification. The user manual is very simple to understand, and no time one can get familiar to all the option available. I highly recommend this Beko model to anyone wants a decent dishwasher.

Never had to re-wash or pre-wash anything, so washing quality is perfect. There’s plenty of room and options for organizing all kinds of dishes. The top cutlery rack feels just a little bit flimsy, otherwise no issues with the ergonomics (and that one isn’t an issue really). The outer minimalistic stainless steel design is just great, I don’t regret waiting almost two months for the machine to be back in stock. Touch sensor buttons work fine. Washing liquid auto dose is something I never tried before, and so far I like it a lot. The app gives an extra notification when the liquid runs low, otherwise I find the app pretty much useless. But that’s a bonus to the machine anyway, so doesn’t really count.
Pros: Washes great (I find fairy dish tablets and finish rinse aid to be the best combo). Quiet Seems to be quite water/energy efficient Cons: Instructions regarding programming are a bit vague. You tube is your friend there!! Will NOT dry regardless of settings (even with extra dry set) Awful to stack, it's internal design isn't very efficient (although I do love the top cutlery drawer)! Shelves are short so difficult to wash larger items (even my normal dinner plates obstruct the blade unless my top rack is raised, which then means my taller glasses wont fit!) DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO CONNECT TO HOMEWHIZ!! I cannot stress that enough! I bought this machine when there was a promotion, it only cost me $7xx, so I thought to give it a go. Generally the machine does the job washes well, the aquaintense did a great job in washing pots however my clear water cups always have stains left on the inner wall after every wash, especially when the cups are used for tea or coffee, I tried powder, tablets and liquid but problem persists, not too sure if it is the machine problem or the water problem here in Perth. Beko you probably need to work harder to introduce new products such as cornerintense from EU or US market for AU users, I still hope Beko AU can do better as I was impressed by this brand when I was in EU, however this machine didn't give me too much suprise.

This took our fancy because of its size, we have a large family and our old dishwasher was ran all the time. The drawers and cutlery holder are all solid, the layout works great for our family. The auto dose function means one less thing to worry about running out the door. The app isn’t the best, not many options and you have to manually put the dishwasher into remote mode to use the app remotely so defeats the purpose really. Settings are a bit hard to navigate on the unit but once you get used to it it’s simple enough. Overall great for its purpose, tech sides not so practical. Would repurchase and would recommend especially if the 16 place setting is what sparks your interest.
Very happy with this product now, I purchased this due to a number of reasons. Price was a big factor, Warranty that was extended by registering the product, so it gave me 5 years, which I really liked so I didn't have to buy extended warranties which I find a waste of time and cost me in the end more than their worth, as least this is a manufactures warranty. Technology on this product is excellent, it has wifi options to upload more wash programs, which I have not needed as yet, timer on it also. Lots of programs and technology for a dishwasher that should cost thousands for all of this. Would recommend this product while the warranty bonus stays on it.
I bought beko dishwasher model BDF1640AX in September 2022. So far I found it performing very good. It is very quiet and cleans dishes very well. After trying different settings I found Eco wash along with Fast+ option works best for me. It takes around 1hr 30 mins to complete the wash. I am using auto dispenser with gel and rinse aid which is helpful as I don't have to put tablet for every wash. I just top up get and rinse aid every week. It came with 5 years with warranty which is added bonus. I found the settings bit tricky but the manual book helps to understand them. Overall I am quite happy with my purchase.
