Beko double oven is great

The Beko double oven looks great and cooks quietly and evenly. The top oven/griller is great for those meals that dont need alot of time to cook while the bottom oven is great for roasts and baking. We are glad that we purchased the Beko double oven. Would recommend this highly.

Challenging to set oven mode and temperature

As compared to our older cheaper Beko single oven which had all digital readable display in our previous home, this brand new double oven was challenging to set to oven mode and temperature and we didn't realize that the oven wasn't cooking as the turning buttons were not pressed in. The tip is to have a small step and torch handy so you can see where the poorly labelled area on side of button is as there is no digital display except for the clock. Start using about 2 hours extra before you want to eat and check it is cooking. Other than that it cooks beautifully as all the Beko products are reliable and reproducible in temperature time over and over again. Just make it easier for those of us middle-aged and eldery with poor sight and a bit shorter. Love this oven. Didn't start well when the cooling fan was making a loud noise. Just missing a screw. Once that is fixed, it works well. Can use the smaller oven for just one tray of food. Heat up faster and cooks faster. Very quiet as well.

Glass steaming up in top oven.
9 October 2020

My new oven is great. It is proving to cook quicker than my previous however. However, there is one problem. When I cook with the bottom oven, it steams up the inner glass of the door on the top oven. It is the inside glass. It goes away after the oven is cooled down but it is not ideal.

Great allrounder.

Great for when cooking meals that require two different temperatures. Perfect for the times you only need the smaller oven space too.Love the different cooking functions available with this model.Could have more height between racks in the main oven.

Great double oven!!
2 October 2020

Great oven. Easy to install. I really like that the double glass doors are heat proof and comes off completely for easy cleaning. It does take a long time for the cooling fan to stop after using it, as compared to my other oven, but that not really a complaint as such.

Just love my new double oven
2 October 2020

Since purchasing my oven approximately 5 weeks ago, I have baked a few cakes, some pizzas and meat in my new oven. Everything has turned out perfectly. I love the knobs which recess into the panel and make cleaning easy. Also, I love that the settings and the temperatures are on the inside of the oven door. This makes it so easy to put my food into my oven at the correct setting and temperature. Just love my new oven.ā¤ļø

Nice but some problems.
27 April 2021

Overall a nice oven with a few problems. The racks have too large a space between the back and the next piece and the same in the front. The display temperature etc is hard to read, particularly at night. The timer is too quiet. The door on the top oven doesn't open flat.

Not Good
5 October 2020

The lip on the oven racks make getting things in and out of the ovens very difficult. You can't slide dishes into the oven as the bars on the oven racks are bendy. Even when not using fan bake a fan starts up after a certain amount of cooking time, continues for quite some time after the oven is turned off and is very noisy. It does look nice.

Not as I expected or wanted - very disappointed
25 June 2020

Unfortunately, the oven is not practical for the following reasons:-(1) It is EXTREMELY difficult to choose the oven setting. I am tall but I have to still stand on my toes and then use a torch to see the marking and even then you can't be certain because the oven markings are ONLY in symbols - so you have to keep looking at the instruction book to see what that symbol represents. On Beko's site, they show the oven settings appearing in the display window and the instruction book says so - but not so apparently in this model. So zero marks from me for this. (2) The telescopic arm cannot be moved to a lower or higher shelf. It is fixed at the 4th rung. (2) The telescopic arm cannot be moved to a lower or higher shelf. It is fixed at the 4th rung. Therefore if you are cooking a turkey or a large leg of lamb, which I usually sit on a rack in an oven tray, for example, the shelf that has the telescopic arm CANNOT BE USED - the level is toooo high. (3) The smaller oven is not fan forced and is therefore very slow in cooking. I was aware before purchase that this smaller oven was not fan forced but I did not expect it to be so slow in its cooking! (4) The larger oven was making a very loud noise when the fan was on.Beko sent out a serviceman to have a look at items (1) and (2) and (4) and the after sales service was good but whilst he was able to get a new part and fix item (4), he could do nothing about (1) (2) and (3). I now mainly use my AirFryer (great device) and do not enjoy using my double oven - which is extremely disappointing for me. Not being able to read the chosen oven settings is the WORST thing about this oven. I loved my earlier Simpson oven and miss it a lot. The new Beko oven was purchased for our renovated kitchen. Whilst it looks nice, it is definitely not practical and not a pleasure to use. I hope Beko fixes these errors /shortcomings in its future ovens. I will be delighted to buy a different oven when the time arrives. Can't afford to do it at this time as it is only just over 1 year old. I am sorry I cannot recommend this model - I wish I could have.
