This isn't your average dollar store power board.Thing is beefy and robust. That could be a downside especially if you plan on mounting this on the wall with adhesives, but hanging them on nail brackets are the way to go. The plugs are secure, yet they are not stiff to pull out of.

Does the job of supplying power to stereo equipment.The USB outlets are very convenient.Don’t know how well the catastrophic surge protection & insurance works yet & hopefully will never have to find out.

Don't Bother!

I've had several belkin products lately stop working just over the two year mark including two of these power boards. The power light just turns off, and reset doesn't work. Belkin used to make good products with lifetime warranty, but not anymore. Save your money and buy another brand.

Good but quite large.

Could be better. The USB ports are handy but the powerboard overall is ridiculously long- it's 45cm, with almost half of that being unused space. Another 2 outlets and 2 USB ports could easily fit, and would make this worth the price.

No bright lights

I choose this surge board due to the 2 meter cord, no bright lights and its protection factor my other one had annoyong bright blue lights by the usb input which like a night light (another brand) and short cord. This one is great and strong looking. I brought two. Very happy.

Peace of mind for $45!

Had a Belkin two-socket travel power plug for over 15 years, which is why I chose this brand when my modem at home got fried from a power surge during a storm. Only had this product for two weeks so cannot comment on longevity but so far works perfectly. Product looks sleek, sturdy, strong and modern with its rounded corners. Plastic of housing is heavy duty as is the sheath of the power cord. The four sockets allow me to protect modem, lamp, electric blanket, laptop, and the two USB ports take phone charger and iPad so have complete peace of mind for my devices and appliances when the next storm comes. And all for $45 dollars! Very happy!

Very handy for the family

More devices that I have purchased recently use a USB cable for charging so to have a multi outlet power board with 2 USB ports is really convenient. The whole family use it without having to plug into a computer.
