Absolutely Horrible!

Absolutely terrible cable. I bought this on 3/8/2022 and now on 7/6/2022 it has completely stopped working. I’ve hooked it up to multiple different devices and TV’s and it gives no signal anymore. The worst part is Belkin customer service is absolutely terrible. Best Buy says I have to go through Belkin to have it replaced because it is out of their 14 day return window, but I’ve been on the phone with Belkin 3 times for over an hour each time and they tell me it’s considered a defective product and I have to have it exchanged through Best Buy. Absolutely horrible experience for a cable that costs nearly $50 and didn’t even last 4 months. Stay away from this cable!

Buying 4K TV and 4K Blue Ray? Better Get Belkin!

To connect them together, you must use an HDMI 2.0 cable, which is a requirement for any 4K TV / 4K Blue Ray Player combo.I normally shop at some of those big "online" vendors, but all they had were cheap knockoff HDMI 2.0 cables that looked really nice - but when I started looking up the cheap HDMI 2.0 cable performance ratings and quality ratings, these cheap ($10-$12 dollars each) cables either did not support the required 60Hz ... MoreIf you are not a technical type and / or really don't understand 4K TV technology, I am posting this for you, in order to get you going in the right direction:I recently invested a considerable amount of money in a really nice 4K UHD HDR flat screen TV from a top manufacturer, along with a top 4K Blue Ray player that also features HDR. I purchased two HDMI 2.0 cables directly from Belkin's website (eliminating any chance of getting cheap "knockoff" or "look-alike" cables) - one Belkin HDMI 2.0 to connect the 4K TV to the 4K Blue Ray player, the other Belkin HDMI 2.0 to connect the 4K TV to the cable box, so I get the best possible data transfer from the cable box to the TV. Why? So I can do some 4K video streaming from some of the major online entertainment sources. Later on, once the major game consoles can truly do 4K games (most don't right now, or they use some technical tricks to give "simulated" 4K performance) I will hook those future game consoles up to my 4K TV using only Belkin HDMI 2.0 (or later) cables!! Hope this helps!

Right away the color were more vivid and vibrant, and the resolution was extremely clear. There was no screen tearing when I would pan around in the game or shoot at other players. The refresh rates were fantastic because I could tell there was no choppiness in my motion range when going over hills and turning on different areas in the game as seen in the videos attached. It definitely produces a 4K quality as I used it with a 4K tv. I like that the cable is a bit longer than your typical 6ft which gave me a little more length to move my console around. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to game or like higher resolutions for a better gaming experience than your standard viewing. It can also improve your standard movie viewing pleasures.

Expensive but works

HDMI cables are digital so it really shouldn’t matter what brand you use as long as it’s rated (ideally certified) for certain speeds. I needed a cable that would push HDR10+ 4K. Many cables do this, but some the Apple TV likes this cable better than others. Can’t explain it. But, for that purpose and reason, it’s a good cable. If you dont need that, save your money.

Good 4K Ultra High Speed HDMI cables
22 January 2022

I did a lot of research prior to buying this HDMI cable. I kept reading some fabulous ads and advertisement on 4K Ultra High Speed cables, only to find that many of them were returned to sender for not displaying or performing as advertised.I found these at Best Buy for $39.99 6.6 ft. long. They also have UlTRA High Speed certification label on the box and rated for 48Gbps. They were able to display my 4K Ultra DVD movies in beautiful Dolby Vision without any problem. I was not able to test them for Gaming since I do not game on consoles. I am strictly a PC gamer (old school)

Great product
1 April 2023

I recently purchased the Xbox One gaming console and used the cable that came with it. My friend told me about using a 4k HDMI 2.1 cable so I tried the Belkin 4k ultra high speed HDMI 2.1 cable. Wow I couldn't believe the difference. The brightness, contrast and color made the images on the screen look lifelike. The cable is 6.6ft and durable which will protect against electrical shocks. Great product. Would recommend to any gamer.

Needed New One!
4 April 2023

I got this and was able to switch old HDMI cable that seemed to keep failing. I connected my computer to my tv to get a bigger picture when showing family videos, but my old one was lagging or just not working. I switched the cables out and this one has been super stable! Trusty Belkin of course! The length was decent for me since I usually love my laptop on my console table and the tv is not far from.

Terrible Quality Control - Apple TV 4K
7 July 2023

As others have mentioned, this cable will cause issues specifically with an Apple TV 4K which is why it’s crazy to me that Apple sells it in stores next to the Apple TV.For context, my last Apple TV was driving me insane. When I would turn it on, it would now power on my TV, would not switch the input, and would not connect with the remote. I had Apple replace the apple TV and remote each twice, same thing happened. Replaced the TV receiver box for the TV same thing. I finally thought to replace the Belkin HDMI cable with a new one, issue was immediately resolved. I have no idea why this cable caused this.Fast forward, I just bought the 3rd gen Apple TV 4K and plugged in my “newer” replacement Belkin HDMI, the issue came back.Replaced it with a different 4K ... MoreAs others have mentioned, this cable will cause issues specifically with an Apple TV 4K which is why it’s crazy to me that Apple sells it in stores next to the Apple TV.For context, my last Apple TV was driving me insane. The best HDMI cable!
7 April 2023

This 4K ultra-high-speed HDMI cable supports highest resolution up to 8K/60Hz for the best picture quality. The display of color, brightness and contrast is right on! The cable is very solid and the perfect length at around 6 feet. Works very well with my streaming devices, cable, and my gaming console. In my opinion it is the best HDMI cable for 4k.

top quality, reliable brand with HIGH end HDR+ spec for latest Apple TV box and Samsung
2 June 2023

Its time consuming, confusing and annoying to have to read all the tiny specs on cables to be sure you get what you need. This is an actual brand and is relibale and what they say ont he specs is sture - so I am willing to pay double or triple the cheaper options just be SURE I get the full top spec cable functiolity - as most of them do NOT do what this one does... ... . not a known off 2nd or 3 rd tier OEM thing.. Belkin is the top brand, and by paying more at least youy can trust it DOES have HDR+ functinality and all the latest, latest, LATEST cable features ot make the most fo the newest Apple TV box and Samsung TV HDR+ (best colours and brightnes contracts for Netflix etc)
