Love the look and happy about the purchase for that reason, but I did expect that a Bell product would be manufactured with higher quality. The chin strap is single layer webbing (feels cheap and floppy to feed through the rings compared to my MX-9. The bill rattles on the snaps and is so hard to remove I feel I may break it. The paint finish is very nice, but the narrow fit will never allow for my communication system. I'm a medium oval head and this is tight, so much that I need to reach in each side and unfold my ears! My MX-9 is the same size, has room for comm and ears freely conform. If you want a cool-looking helmet that is a pain to put on, go for it. Otherwise there are more functional helmets....-m-2018 SUZUKI--

Great service from Urban Rider as usual and discounted price was excellent. Bell Moto 3 is a great helmet. I purchased a medium (always ordered this size) and Bell is definitely a snug fit but I expect will break in properly within a few hundred miles. Very happy with the styling. Overall experience has been very good indeed.

Bought this helmet after 6 months of waiting on them to make a new FastHouse Moto 3. After having the helmet for four days and only wearing it maybe 3 times it got a massive chip from a Woden door. I take full responsibility for bumping the helmet into the door but I have never had a helmet chip all the way down to the shell so easily. I have multiple HJC and Bell helmets and have never had one that chips and scratches so easily! Can't imagine what a small rock or road debris would do to it at 40+ mph.Its a cool looking helmet but definitely feels slightly defective when it comes to the outside coating on the shell.

Bought this for one of my son's. He is very happy with it. As you can see in the pics he is more of the retro / cafe persuasion. Fits his style well. Looking for a good set of goggles to go with it. He is using this dirt bike goggles for now. Fit was good as measured. Light and comfortable.
Overall, this helmet is great. Fits well to size, and for my (square) head shape I have always found the Bell helmets to fit the best.My few points that drop to 4/5 instead of 5/5:-the visor is cheap and ineffective. I took it off immediately but hate paying for a feature that I will never use-needs rear vents. Would dramatically help the overall airflow if this had just a couple small vents on the rear of the helmetSome may find it loud, I always run an open face helmet and compared to say my Bell Scout Air this is much quieter. I also run with ear phones in and can hear everything while wearing this helmet.Otherwise, the helmet is great and highly recommend!
Pros:It looks cool and has a small size so you don't look like a bobble headIs comfortable despite cheap liner material. (feels like a towel) But really doesn't bother me.Also looks very cool without visor.Fits many different goggle shapesCons:Visor feels cheap and has some rattle to it once it faces wind at higher speedsThe lower "jaw" part is not totally round like I imagined, it has more of a triangle shape as it comes to the front vents. Not a deal breaker, but from all the pictures I saw it appeared nice and round.Glasses are a tight squeeze.Overall I like really like the helmet but I feel like it is too expensive for the quality. You're paying for the looks! Gotta have a cool helmet tho #nocupholders
Been riding for 30 years and have owned more helmets than I can remember. This is a great bucket.Fit was a little bit tight, especially around the ears for the first couple of weeks. I knew from past experience it would break in and it has nicely. It's still snug but not annoying. I always get XL Bell helmets and they all seem to fit me the same at first. This helmet is surprisingly light weight. I have owned a couple of modular flip up helmets in the 300 dollar range that made my neck sore after a while - just too heavy. This has no problems of that sort for me.This helmet is less flexible along the sides than a 3/4 bucket, and you can't pull the sides out if you have earbuds in like you can otherwise. I haven't tried earbuds with it yet, but with a helmet ... MoreBeen riding for 30 years and have owned more helmets than I can remember. I haven't tried earbuds with it yet, but with a helmet liner over the ears it would go on fine. Probably would rip out the buds taking it off though. Also, this helmet is not good with regular eyeglasses. It sort of cups around the temples, so trying to stick glasses in there is super tight. Just use regular goggles or elastic wrap around and it works great. This thing looks dam cool with black aviator leather pilot type glasses. Like, truly Mad Max epic.I've been looking for small spikes to cover the studs along the forehead area, but no luck so far :)
Looks cool but I couldn?t get this helmet to work for me. I measured out to be L but ordered the XL from another Dennis Kirk and I thought I was going to tear off my ears trying to get it on. Then I ordered the 2XL from Revzilla and it was too big. I returned it. I liked the looks but but the fit and finish was not on par with the Nexx xg200 Flat Tracker that I ended up with.
I tried to thoroughly research the Bell Moto 3 sizing before purchasing because there were no local dealers listed around me to try it on. The sizing advice was all over the map with size charts contradicting what was on F9 and on Bell's website. My head measurement is 58.5cm, so directly between medium and large.I ended up getting the medium, it was definitely too tight, even after the initial squeeze-in as others pointed out as being difficult. My jaw and chin area was fine, but it put significant pressure on my cranium, to the point where I really don't think it would have broken in enough to be comfortable.I loved the look and feel of the helmet (especially at 39% off!!) so I ordered a large, which Bell and F9 have sized for 59-60cm head circumferences. ... MoreI tried to thoroughly research the Bell Moto 3 sizing before purchasing because there were no local dealers listed around me to try it on. Immediately, I knew it was the right size. While still tight enough to feel secure, there were no pressure points and after the helmet breaks in a bit, I have confidence it will be even more comfortable.I would describe my head shape as average, perhaps somewhere between a true oval and more rounded; I'm 6'1', 200lbs. For anyone between sizes, if you have anything other than a very thin oval shaped head, I highly recommend sizing UP contrary to many reviews I've found on the Bell Moto 3.One note, for riders who use prescription glasses or want to ride with sunglasses, I recommend avoiding this helmet. Even when sized right, there's minimal chance a pair of glasses will comfortably fit unless you have a particularly thin head or are buying a helmet that's too big. It's still snowing, so I haven't road tested it yet, but once I return the medium, I will be super happy with my purchase and feel it was a great deal for a unique and good looking helmet.
I am a helmet freak. I own a lot of helmets. SHOEI was always my go to and then I went to Jet Style scooter helmets and found them pretty nice. Wanted a retro full face and decided on the Moto 3. I have a big head so I was concerned about the fit. I can honestly say that this is one of the most comfortable helmets that I have ever put on my head. I also added an older Cardo system that fit great. Not a lot of these left around, if your thinking about it, grab it before they're gone. Revzilla speaks for themselves...no better on line company to buy from.
