The Bell Moto-9 MIPS Dash is a flagship motocross helmet with a unique energy management system and a fully adjustable peak. Featuring a Tri-Matrix composite shell with three different shell sizes for more proportional sizing, this off-road Bell helmet takes advantage of MIPS technology (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), which uses a low-friction slip-plane system that rotates inside the helmet, mimicking the brain's own protection system, to slow and reduce the amount of energy transferred to the head during angular impacts and a variety of potential crash scenarios. The exceptional Velocity Flow Ventilation system consists of a large inlet on the chin bar covered by a dust filter, two inlets on the forehead and a further two on the top, which intake a huge amount of cool air and carry it through to the 7 exhausts on the back. Additional air will also come through the large visor aperture, which is big enough to accomodate any pair of motocross goggles. The peak is fully adjustable thanks to the glove-friendly Quickflip visor screws which can be removed or calibrated to keep the sun away from your eyes or to improve your aerodynamics. The helmet is also equipped with interior padding is removable, washable and silver-lived for anti-bacterial and moisture-wicking properties and Magnefusion Emergency Removal System cheek pads for safe removable in an emergency situation.
