I have a fairly large head (7 1/2 hat size) and this fits fairly well, just not as well as my older helmetVisor is nice and big but can be a bit of an issue at higher speedsGood coverage and pretty good a weight for MIPS
While i did not own a helmet my wife has a helmet that she Periodically wears mostly when biking with her parents, who wear helmets. I am pretty sure it is the first helmet ever made. I actually think it is older than she is, possibly a hand me down from a much older sibling who likely never wore it. Not only is it heavy, it is a white hard shell with white foam interior and looks pretty dated and worn. When she wears it she did not have much to say good or bad. When we would ride just the two of us she almost never wears it.Occasionally when I would ride alone she would remind me that i was more than welcomed to wear her helmet. I was outside when he returned and was shocked and excited that he was wearing the helmet. i had secretly been wishing he would wear a helmet. Afterwards I asked him what made him wear it and what he thought of the helmet he told me he figured he might as well try it since it was there and he was often going 25 mph. He also added the helmet was really nice and it made him feel safe. A few days later I tried it on and took a short ride in the neighborhood and did not get a headache and it was light and airy. I am not a fan of the red but will get myself a helmet now as well.
Any time we go for a bike ride my husband always slips on a helmet while I always wear a ball cap. Recently I found I was with child and decided it would be prudent to wear a helmet. Since my husband has several helmets I decided to try one of his. He suggested the bell nomad. It fits way better than the helmet i had in 2005 (as a teen). It felt like it cradled my head. We went on a long ride that day and honestly I thought i was going to hate wearing a helmet as i always a ball cap. However just the opposite the helmet was great.
Had a surprise OTB moment, and got thrown into some rocks and landed on my side with my head hitting some sharp edged rocks just behind my ear. The helmet covered the area well and protected me from any injury. The helmet got fairly dented where the impact happened so I was happy to replace it with the same one that worked so well.
