I have used many and when I say many, I mean hundreds of different cleansers, from so many different brands. None of them hold a candle to Benefit Cosmetics’s Porefessional good cleanup firming cleanser. My favorite part is….. it doesn’t strip my skin, it doesn’t dry it out, it cleans refreshes it. Most of the time I only use just this cleanser, unless I’m wearing a lot of make up, and then I use the new Fenty skin melt AWF jelly oil make up melting cleanser beforehand. But like I said most of the time I just use the benefit cosmetic cleanser and it gets everything off, my eye make up, and all. It is exactly what I have been looking for. It’s a gentle lightweight Non-comedogenic gel formula that lathers into a bubbly foam. Visibly minimizes pores, visibly removes dirt, oil, and impurities. It seems to be reducing the size of my pores, unclogging my pores, and deep cleaning my skin. I am so excited and can’t wait to see even more results in 3 to 6 month’s. It legitimately checks all the boxes and I highly recommend this cleanser. I stan Benefit cosmetics.

I received this product complimentary from Benefit Cosmetics, but i am always honest in my reviews, i loved this cleanser so much i ended up going to pick up another AND even the new cleansing oil it pairs with! I've tried a bunch of cleansers but this one in specifically blew my mind because it visibly helped with my pores! i have really big visible pores and i noticed a difference after 2 weeks of using this that when i apply my makeup it looks smoother! I would first off like to say that I have only used this product once, however with that being said, I truly believe this is by far one of the best cleansers I've ever used. If you pair this with the Get Unblocked oil makeup remover (if you wear makeup) and the deep retreat clay mask, your skin will thank you. My skin has never felt so soft from just washing it. The blackheads around my nose have diminished and my pores were definitely reduced. If blackheads or large pores are a concern for you, I'd definitely recommend this product. Honestly, I recommend this product even if you don't have those concerns. This is just a great cleanser overall. Combo Skin Approved

As someone with oily/dry combination skin, I really enjoyed trying out this facial cleanser. I struggle with cleansers being so strong that they dry out my skin, even after moisturizer. But with this foaming cleanser, it was a refreshing feeling! My skin felt very smooth. After washing my face, my face felt very moisturized and the product design was easy to store in my bathroom. I definitely appreciate that the cleanser included no fragrances, since I do have sensitive skin. Shout out to benefit for gifting me this product it's amazing. All in all I will give this a 10 out of 10 and if you have a combination or oily skin I would definitely give this a try!

Don’t recommend, but it’s not horrible

Personally, off the bat, I didn’t like how the cleanser seems to be too thick to pump out of the packaging effectively. I had to pump, wait, pump, wait. I had to use about four pumps on my face… this would just take a while to wash my face. The scent is lovely though, a very faint lemon. My skin felt clean, but the packaging feels faulty. I also personally didn’t like the dotted design on it. My pores were not at all visibly different after. Not that I expect it to be a miracle product, as I’ve had enlarged pores and oily skin for forever, but the way it’s marketed was a little disappointing. I received this free, but that won’t steer me to a false positive review. Maybe overtime there will be better results. :)

Gentle yet Effective

I'm so happy to see Benefit Cosmetics has launched a pore targeting skincare line. As someone who needs all the help they can get for their pores this is it. Because I have larger pores, makeup tends to get stuck. So I need a really good gentle yet effective cleanser that will really help my skin. This cleanser is so good! It also smells really good. When I read that it was a foaming cleanser, I thought it was going to be foamy to begin with, however it has a gel consistency. You then use water to activate the product. Massaging the gel cleanser on to your skin is what turns it foamy. After washing my skin, it feels super clean but it does not feel dry or stripped. I really enjoy using this cleanser at night during my double cleanse in my skincare routine.

Great cleanser

Very nice formula that smells nice and fresh. My only complaint is that I really wish the nozzle let out more product though because I have to pump more than about 8 times for me to get enough of the product that I need to cleanse. The packaging itself is cute though, love the color goodies and polka dots. It feels very cleansing and my skin definitely doesn’t look or feel oily but more on the glowy side. Personally I didn’t feel any irritation which I’m happy about because this is mattifying. My skin looks soft, smooth and helps my pores stay clean. I have 4 stars just bc of the way it releases product which is difficult to get enough in just 2-3 pumps.

Initial thoughts as I’ve only used this cleanser a couple of times… as someone whose main problem area is clogged pores, especially on my nose, I was very excited to try a cleanser specifically formulated with pores in mind. My high expectations fell short with this product, at least as a stand alone. My pores did not feel visibly cleaner and we’re still clogged. I would recommend this type of cleanser for someone with a minimal skincare routine (light face washing in the morning for example). I also do not like the packaging, it’s great that it’s made of recycled materials, however my products came dented and dinged up with the outer packaging ripped. Does not feel safe for traveling or taking on the go. Smells great though!
