I'm not sure if the BenQ EX3415R would be my first choice at the 1K price point considering what LG is offering, but at $800 this is a great purchase. It checks all the boxes while doing it 20% cheaper than it's comparable counterparts: 1440P ultrawide, 144hz, Freesync, 1-2ms response and a curved IPS panel. I'm leaving a 5-star review for this monitor at the $799 mark. This was my first dive into the ultrawide territory from 16:9 and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. It's such a pleasurable and immersive gaming experience, while not sacrificing much in performance. This probably is not the monitor for your if you're trying to go pro in a FPS, but it's more than sufficient for your average "prosumer" gamer.The included remote is a nice touch that I'm already using more than I thought a would. Additionally, the built in speakers are some of the better monitor speakers I've heard. They're still not better than a decent budget set of desktop speakers, but definitely good enough to prevent you from needing to purchase speakers. The stand is sturdy and well made, but it is quite large.Cons:The brightness leaves a little (very little) to be desired in a couple applications, but overall has not been an issue.The HDR 400 is nothing to right home about for the most part, but can be pleasurable in some campaign/story gaming. Using HDR while playing an FPS left everything too dark/saturated and at a competitive disadvantage.While the base with the orange accents is somewhat pleasing to look at on paper, it does not go great with the aesthetics of my office/build. Luckily, if orange isn't your go to color either the accents are only decals that easily peel off.

Monitor is comparable to LG ultragear in response time. Zero to no motion blur in ufo test. Ghosting is none. High p3 color and the ultrawide curve is just right. My eyes strain is gone. I think because this monitor only has 200nits in sdr brightness so this monitor doesnt get bright and can be dim if you came from a high hdr or higher peak brightness of 400nits or more. Recommend for pc gaming if you sit up close. But for console or entertainment, look for higher peak brightness of 400 or more in both sdr and hdr mode.

I have bought this monitor about a month ago and am very happy with its performance. The picture is great, the colors are vivid, the sound is decent and I like some of its features that my previous monitor did not have, like the ability to connect the second computer and split the screen between the two connected computers either evenly or by putting the output from second computer on the side or in the corner and switch between them when needed, the ability to close the compartment on the back of the monitor with the connected cables and that the stand/angles are easily adjustable. The monitor is slightly less curved than other monitors I saw, and I like that it is not too curved.

Finally I settled on just going for an IPS panel, knowing it would cost more but cover my motion issues. Being able to quickly change the sound mode to deep/soft with a button is amazing. I see complaints about HDR and brightness, but I personally run with a nightlight setting and lower brightness for daily driving due to eye issues so it hits my brightness perfectly. And then having the remote to up the brightness for FPS (with dark scenes) works great to offset my preferred darker settings. I don't think anybody should expect amazing HDR brightness from a monitor only rated at HDR400.

A 34" Ultrawide is the same height as a 27", which is awesome for 1440p. The picture is really sharp and clear, perfect for gaming or any sort of work.The curve is just enough and not too aggressive. I really think all UW monitors should be curved. Going back to a flat monitor is kinda disappointing now.IPS is great for colors, and this particular monitor looks better than my other one for some reason. Not sure if it's the coating or maybe just the colors, but It's my favorite monitor to look at.The speakers sound great for built in speakers, and just as good as $40-50 external ones. I really do like this screen, though the price was a bit high for me. I don't have any complaints outside the price, and Microcenter's prices were comparable to similar screens at other places in the area (only Microcenter had something with the specs I wanted and others didn't).
At first, I'm scared by the price. It's higher than other products. But the huge advantages is that it is IPS curved. When you compared with other product, you will notice that most of the curved monitor are VA panel. This IPS panel give you better color and response time. I'm really happy with it. Also the speaker is better than I expected. Although I have earphone, sometimes when I don't want to wear earphone the built in speaker can be a good alternative solution for you. Recommend this monitor.
This monitor is beyond terrible, brightness is horrible, hdr is horrible. This monitor should be priced 399.99 not 800..i had it for 2 days and it was the worst 2 days i had with a screen i couldnt wait to return it. I got the lg 34" for 1000$ that monitor is worth the extra 200 compared to this one, do yourself a favor and skip this one. Microcenter if you read this get rid of it so you dont get returns on it left and right.
I really love the features on this display. For one I get USB connections, but unless they are items you’ll never unplug, it’s difficult to locate without totally tilting the whole display forward.The remote feature is fantastic for someone who runs multiple inputs like me.I like the HDR option but I feel the color profile is an acquired taste as the whites aren’t as white in HDR mode.Overall I’m pleased and happy to have a full 144hz ultrawide.
washed out colors, honestly the worst monitor i have probably bought?i returned within 2 days, i tried all the settings and nothing worked.I dont understand why benq would sell this and let it go through?go get your self a predator for same price with 10x better quality image.
