Be aware the pixel shifting technology emits a low buzzing sound when using 4k content, some may find it annoying, but with movie or game sound, you don't hear it. Only cons: No Netflix ( I use a Playstation instead) and no optical lens shift.

The image is sharp and colors are accurate. Love the projector. I can't see rainbow effect from the DLP chip. Be aware the pixel shifting technology emits a low buzzing sound when using 4k content, some may find it annoying, but with movie or game sound, you don't hear it. Only cons: No Netflix ( I use a Playstation instead) and no optical lens shift.

I wanted a projector to replace my Optoma HD projector.My use case is 80% gaming, 20% movies.I first bought a Optoma UHD38 but when using the PS5 with it I had to set the cable to 1.4 mode to stop any flickering. This wasn’t acceptable for me as the projector could handle 2.0b. Although movies were brilliant on this and it was quiet considering it is a lamp projector. I returned it and bought the BenQ X3000i.First thing I did was watch a film. Which takes me to the bad points. The blacks on the projector are quite poor but it wasn’t all bad as the shadow detail wasn’t fully lost. The projector is only HDMI 2.0b (but this is expected from projectors). That’s the only 2 bad points. Using this projector for gaming blew me away. I decided to live with the bad blacks because of this.Overall, happy with the purchase, had to buy a new projector mount because of the projection angle (I don’t like using keystone). I would recommend this if your primary use is gaming, otherwise I’d look elsewhere.
Really excited to get one of these. From the reviews I read it is excellent and probably the best overall projectors. Seems to constantly run out of stock though.Best of all no more lamps needs as it’s LED
