It’s padded. I found the size guide confusing. Not sure if Berlei have altered their sizing but I’ve never been size 18A in my life, always 12C. 18A seems to fit acceptably but is quite large.

This is a great bra. I have it in the nude as well. Perfect for under t-shirts, really comfy (no wire). The sizing can be a little confusing to work out. I am a size 12-14 (12DD or 14D) and went for the Large. And its Perfect. Some women may want more support for exersizing, but wearing a a crop bra top over this one works for me.Also,on sale is was $34 so good value for your money. I will probably buy a couple more I love it so much.

Best bra I’ve ever worn! Super comfortable. I bought 3 Medium bras when they were on sale, without knowing how well they would fit, and they’re perfect. I normally wear a 14B with wire. No more wires for me!

I've been having difficulty in finding a bra that is comfortable and doesn't make me want to rip it off after a short time of wearing it. I'm happy to say that this bra was comfortable from the very first time I put it on. It also gives me the support I need. A bonus is the fact that it's reasonably priced. I will certainly buy again.
I love this bra! It's my new favourite as it's so comfortable but looks and feels great! It's the perfect bra for winter months as the fabric is soft and warm. I love this in black and would definitely purchase it again. I should have bought two!
My daughter recommended the Understate Wirefree Bra. I’ve been wearing the same bra style my whole adult life but was sick of the wire! After trying the Understate Wirefree I bought several more in every colour! So comfortable and suits me regardless if I’m exercising or going to work. It’s super comfortable but still offers good support. Highly recommended!
I normally wear under wire bras so find this one very comfortable. It looks fine under clothes and still has the contours. I like the adjustable straps and wider sides and back, and the soft, breathable fabric of it. I have no negatives on this bra, I’d happily purchase more.
This bra is one of the best I have bought. I am currently in second trimester of pregnancy and it is by far the most comfortable one I have been able to find - even sleeping in it is comfy! Purchased a second one after wearing for a few weeks.
I love these bras. They are very comfortable & they don’t ride up like other wirefree brands. For those who dislike wearing underwire bras, this bra does the job without digging into you. I only wish they came in more colours
Super comfy, was dubious about wire free, but am now a wire free convert. This bra is super comfy & supportive. Sizing is odd (S,M,L etc). I’m usually a 12 or 14 C and purchased the L. Could probably size down to M, but has three hook/eye rows so can wear on tightest row.
