I was given this product to review. Generally I dont enjoy honey And only use it in recipes, but a few months ago I decided to start using Manuka honey for its health benefits. This one is far superior to the one I had been using which was a pale set honey. This is not, it is gloriously dark and runny and very sweet with a deep molasses flavour. It goes beautifully in fruit tea and with yoghurt. It seemed odd, and was disappointing, that it came in a plastic jar but that is the only negative for me.

Absolutely delicious Manuka Honey, I added it to porridge as I don?t really like porridge and it tasted absolutely wonderful. Knowing it?s great for my digestive system and good for me made it taste even better. Top quality honey and product?

The flavour and consistency are absolutely gorgeous. Reminded me of honey I used to enjoy as a little girl and have not eaten again ever since. However... I only tried it as I got it given to sample, but would not be prepared to pay ?32 for a little pot of honey. It is simply not reasonable in my view, hence why I didn't give 5 stars.

I was asked to review this for Ocado. I was suprised it came in a plastic jar but once opened it smelt and tasted delicious, with a subtle flavour followed by the sweetness. A little goes a long way , it was great on buttered toast and would also be a great addition to porridge.
Firstly, I was offered this product to review, so I did not pay for it. My first impression was that for a honey at ?32 I would expect, given the current concern for the seas etc. it would be in a glass jar and not plastic. Then I thought about the additional fuel needed to bring it to the UK from Australia, and the current concern for our atmosphere. Before I've even opened it I'm in a dilemma. Maybe we should stop transporting stuff all over the planet, and start embracing locally produced goods. I like honey, I don't buy it often, but I enjoy it occasionally. I have never paid this amount of money for honey. I've read about all the possible healing properties of Manuka honey, my sister has even tried it for a skin condition, but to no avail. Based on this, I was looking forward to tasting such an expensive luxury. I took the lid off, peeled back the foil seal, and licked it clean. Wow! Intense, powerful, dark with a treacle taste. Honey with a strong memory of bonfire night, and toffee apples. Smooth, and does not get the back of my throat like some others. Definitely a quality product, but comes with a high price tag, both to your wallet & our planet.
I was quite surprised how rich in flavour this honey is, almost like molasses. The colour is quite dark compared to other Manuka honey brands Ive tried and the texture is smooth and velvety. Would prefer if it came in a glass jar as opposed to plastic though.
If youre looking to treat yourself, then this is definitely worth it! This honey is dark, rich and sweet, with an almost treacley taste. I use Manuka honey mainly for its health benefits and like to eat a teaspoonful on its own sometimes. This one certainly hits the spot! It IS expensive, but its worth it occasionally.
I was sent this to review. First thoughts - for price tag I would have expected a glass jar rather than plastic, however the packaging was nice. The honey itself is gorgeous - I spread some on toast. Overall its lovely but Im not sure if I would buy owing to the price.
Im not a big fan of honey, but this one is sooo good. Delicious runny honey and not super sweet like many others. One teaspoon of honey with my porridge in the morning is great, but also knowing that it has some healthy benefits added to it makes it even better choice. The only thing is, Im not sure I will spend that much money on one jar
Im not usually keen on honey but this is delicious! Its deep in colour and has a rich almost molasses taste. Its great on porridge or in a lemon and honey drink. It is pricey but it is clearly a quality product.
