At this point the story is just about to start taking off so get ready. This series is a truly great one, especially for those after a little 'more' from a traditional action manga. I love this series, even though I am more interested in Western comics, this one is great with many subtleties. Highly recommended.

Bought this for my teenager (17 yrs old), who it getting really into it. I find it rather disturbing. Lots of gory violence, scenes of truly sadistic torture, and some nudity and sexual content. Not for children.
Berserk has an incredible story. it some panels and the storytelling shows so many emotions. And its art style is a masterpiece you can Kentaro Miura the artist really cared about how berserk looked. Shipping was quick and the book wasn't damaged I have recommended this to friends and family.

This series features dark, violent fantasy in a twisted demonic version of Europe in the Middle Ages. The protagonist Guts uses an unfeasibly large sword to fight increasingly grotesque enemies. If you are a fan of Dark Souls, this is a must read, as it is a clear inspiration.

For those wanting to lose themselves, read berserk, so far.... it has been amazing.I fully recommend reading the manga.It is brutal and at times, rough to read, but for those with darker tastes, there is nothing greater.Allow the strand of causality to reel you in and follow Guts on a journey to defy destiny and to remain human in an inhuman world.
