My housemates and I like the game in general but the character tokens are horrible. Id prefer the plain maple-shaped token or anything else, to be honest. Sometimes we cant find the monster tokens required for a haunt too. Some other tokens are not properly printed. But its still fun to play. The box come undamage. Thumbs up for the packaging.
Very good quality . Not really a study bible as system takes you thru several pages. Large print makes it easy to read and I really like the updated language. Not enough commentary or footnotes.
This is a great and very enjoyable game. I like how the second part or the haunt is always different.
Arrive almost on time with the est giving, just a few days longer but it came in great condition and nothing was missing. The skin colouring on the characters left me with more to be desired. It was a weird purple maroon colour, though it doesnt effect the game play. Overall, good experience and would recommend to buy this game and have fun!
This is a great game. It took us about 2 full games to get our head around the rules but once we did we realised how great the re-playability is for this game. There's about 70 different scenarios that can play each game. It's awesome and exciting. When ever an Omen card is pulled and you make a haunt roll...it's tense! You can only hope that you and the other players gathered enough items to survive what happens next! And not knowing who is going to be the traitor is AWESOME! A great game!
I really like this game. It really gives of the feel of the old horror/adventure movies. Its fun exploring the house at the beginning and trying to find useful items and buff up your character. But then when the haunt comes, its a tense race trying to accomplish your objective before the other team. And with so many scenarios, there's hours of replayability. Recommended if your looking for a good thematic game.
Thus game is unbelievably complicated on the first go around. I am not entirely sure we played correctly. Hopefully, the second go around will go better. Do not plan on playing this game with any children. Engineering degree might be helpful, although three colege educated adults struggled getting this going.
