The battery compartment was wired incorrectly. The pictogram in the battery compartment showed the batteries having to be installed facing opposite directions but the springs and contacts were both installed in the same direction.

This is a fine pulse oximeter, but the bluetooth implementation and app are poorly documented, and likely to stay that way. Beurer shows no sign of moving past V1.0. Other apps, such as Samsung Health, do not work with it. It seems only to be able to transmit a single reading at a time to the Beurer Health Coach app using BLE - no real-time recording of pulse.

Once you get it setup, the Beurer PO 60 is easy to use. Just open the app, measure and it automatically transmits. My complaint was that it took a long time to actually setup the bluetooth - the device would flash the bluetooth code for 1 second, and not give enough time to enter into the mobile. I took the batteries out a few times and then magically it started working.The Beurer HealthApp is pretty good. I use it together with a Bluetooth scale and use it to log other health data, and it is easy to use.
Works well although I was less convinced by the use of a linked account. For people with any kind of respiratory problem this device is an excellent early warning system.
Rapid delivery even in a very busy time. The product seems good quality and very easy to use. I'm assuming it's accurate but no reason to doubt. App is a bit dull and unimaginative but that's not the main reason I bought it.

I wanted one that could record oxygen levels continuously, to monitor changes according to what I was doing. The description of this one implied that was what it did via the Bluetooth connection. However, what it did was to take an average reading from while you had it on your finger, and then send that average to the phone. This was useless to me when I could get the same average results from a device costing $30 instead of $180 (although I would have to write the results down instead of it being recorded on the phone).
Top Quality product, Easy to use and very accurate, links easily with phone and gives good graphs and data readouts. Brilliant.
