The clamping force is appropriate and the adjustments are ideal, they will fit tiny heads, as well as large heads without losing any comfort or clamping force.I would buy these again for gaming, BUT if this is your first set of cans, or you plan on listening to a lot of music I would look elsewhere.

I'm new to podcasting and I needed to get a set of headphones to work with my Zoom P4 Podcast, and after doing some research, I decided on Beyerdynamic. Since I already had made a purchase with Sam Ash for another piece of equipment, being totally satisfied with their customer service, shipping, and pricing, I decided to order them from Sam Ash again. They arrived well packaged and safely. The headphones are very comfortable. They are 80 ohms impedance which work great with my podcast machine. They are comfortable on my head. I do not feel them. The sound clarity is great. Fit and finish is excellent. Great quality. I like the color combination on them as well. The unit comes with the standard plug and also an adapter for larger size. Decent closed back headphones (DT 770 80ohm)

I mainly bought these for gaming(Valorant mainly) and normal media consumption. I was using Hyperx stinger before so i'm mainly gonna compare these to stinger(i've also used sennheiser hd 599 SE which is an open back headphone, but i returned them because it has too much bass for my liking and nearly no isolation.)I ran this 80 ohm version on my cheapass motherborad(msi h110m pro-vh plus) only, which was enough to power them and the sound was loud enough for me(80% on spotify) but the sound was definitely lower than my stinger(might buy an amp/dac in the future but not necessary). When wearing these headphones i can hardly hear any outside noise, even my ceiling fans noise(which normally runs on high speed) gets completely isolated.Conclusion - If u game seriously then buy some other gaming headset(also contains mic), but if u want an all rounder then buy these(in my opinion this is the best closed back headphone under 15k) and if isolation is not a problem for u then choose an open back headphone( something like sennheiser HD 599, which sometimes goes on sale for 9-10k, which is an absolute banger of a price, but let me warn u HD 599 has elevated high bass frequency which tends to bleed into mids, otherwise it is a good deal if u don't mind bass).

Excellent headphones for mixing podcast episodes. What's impressive in addition to the sound quality is its build quality. There's really sturdy metal body that I feel confident stretching over my large head. I can see myself buying them again for a backup, just to have it. I also think I'll end up buying other resistance measures later for other editing and listening purposes. I currently use it with a basic audio interface (Scarlett 2i2), and I also use it sometimes with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Only a slight warning: the cord is long and can't be removed from the headphones themselves. Fortunately, I had already anticipated that pre-purchase, so it's not a problem, as the DT770s have a substantial reputation among pro mixers and audiophiles. Great headphones to last you for many years

These headphones are in production since 1985 and they're one of the most popular models found in recording studios for a good reason! At this price point, they're one of the nicest headphones you can get for studio work, but also for listening to music in noisy environments (e.g. office). Since they're mostly closed back, unless you go really high with the volume, others won't be able to hear your music and you will not be able to hear outside noises either. The 250 Ohm model is not suitable with all consumer devices, as it might be more demanding on the amplifier and might require a dedicated headphone amp.

My entry into audiophile territory

Sibilant recordings do sound a bit harsh to my ears due to treble boost. Bass is lovely: rich, low, rumbling, un-muddy and satisfying. Oh yes, i now know what "muddy" means as well only now since my low-fi headphones sound just like that compared to these.Thanks for the "burn-in" advice upfront. I let a track run on loop at 70% volume for 12 hours and only after that did these cans shine.I understand why these have been voted high on comfort. Being round, they can be oriented with the headband at any angle you like. As I already have a Ifi Zen Can powering the headphone was not an issue.After receiving the headphone initially I felt the sound a little piercing in the high frequency range (as I was used to hearing the Sundaras). I used an android EQ (Wavelet app) brought down the 9.6k band -2.5 DB and now it sounds perfect. Amazing clearity, depth and sound stage with a little more distinctive bass than the Sundaras.I am happy with this purchase and satisfied with the sound of the headphones.

Works great with an equalizer

After 2 days of burning them, they sound really good.Yes, a tad bright but nothing that an equalizer can't fix. (I followed the Harman curve target for non-monitoring purposes)The sound stage is lovely for a closed back and a detailed but not overpowering sub bass is refreshing.At a sensitivity of 96 dB they don't get as loud (This troubled me initially). But the point of a good set is that you can resolve the details even at lower volumes.Believe me, I mostly listen to them at 60-70% volume now. Good for the long-term hearing too :)I was also looking for the silver-grey velour earpads and the team got them for me O_O. The pleather pads have ventilation holes in the back and are equally comfortable as well.An awesome experience overall and money well spent.
