I bought this thinking it was induction, due to the title saying "moka express induction 6 Cup". Put it on the induction stove and the stove did not recognize it. Went to Myer to return it, the older member of staff told me that I should buy a induction plate and that I should have known it's not induction just by holding it. Even though I told them I used it once to test it and it did not work, was about 7 days from purchasing. (Also had issues with delivery). I finally got a refund when they accepted the advertising said induction and it WAS NOT. Myer quality and products have gone down.

I fell for the colour, so beautiful and it is the same in reality as it is on-line. However, there is no water limit benchmark inside, to start with, soI pour the allowable amount measuring in my other Bialetti. The inside is made of silicone, don’t know why. The worst is that my usual coffee, from a local Bridgehead cafe chain, even though ground for a stovetop espresso, boils over of the pot and scares me with the sound, considering that a previous (not Bialetti) pot exploded on me a few months ago and I threw out about 25 of them, keeping just 3 original Bialetti pots. The other Bialetti pots that I already had, never reacted negatively to a cafe-bough coffee grind. When I brew an original Italian coffee (espresso), though, of which I am not a big fan, the pink ... MoreI fell for the colour, so beautiful and it is the same in reality as it is on-line. Thank you.

I've never used one of these before. The instructions were clear and after about 4-5 uses it was seasoned and the taste is great. I am amazed at just how quick it is - 4-5 minutes from over the heat source to drinking! I have found that medium grind gives the best flavour. I use the grounds as fertiliser in the garden. As I become familiar with the process of using it I have found its use easy to incorporate into my kitchen routines.

I've never used one of these before. The instructions were clear and after about 4-5 uses it was seasoned and the taste is great. It's a classic and the colour is a nice add on. Just be aware of all the different myths around this thing:- Yes, you can clean it - it's aluminium not cast iron. Leaving coffee residue in there is gross.- Do not tamper the coffee! It's not an espresso, it's a mokka... (it will taste bitter if you do)- Do not fill the water higher than the valve and use filtered water if you can
After years of daily takeaways I now make my own perfect coffee every morning pour it into a thermus top it up with boiling water and get on with my day. Cleaning is simple and its ready to go for tomorrow. I originally googled info on use and care but the Bialetti MokaPot is now an just part of my routine. I use Vittoria ground espresso but there is a large choice of pre ground coffee brands at the supermarket or grind the beans yourself. I thoroughly recommend this product.
The cheap, soft aluminum Phillips Head screw that secures the plastic handle on top of the coffee pot loosened up in a very short time after I received the Bialetti coffee pot. When I tried to tighten the screw with a standard Phillips head screwdriver, the cheap, soft aluminum screw stripped. I will find a replacement screw (maybe in brass or stainless that won’t strip easily). Should not be difficult to fix. Makes me wonder how often this occurs.
This colour is super cute in person and can act as a decorative piece as much as functional. If having coffee with milk (aka not an espresso) then it makes enough for 2 small cups. Perfect for when you don’t have much bench space so can’t fit a coffee machine in, but still want delicious coffee. I didn’t realise that it won’t work on induction stove tops but have bought a Bialetti Induction Plate so great that there’s a work around. Love it!
Perhaps I should’ve bought the 6 cup moka maker. Though I love the Baletti 3 cup, in reality, it only makes 2.It’s easy to use and would be great to take it on the road with you.I love the limited edition colour (mint green) however, once stained it does not come off (any overflowing coffee). I suppose it can have to worn in look.Overall, I’m quite happy with the coffee maker, I would strongly recommend the larger one!
Beautiful, thank you. Nice colour, enamel paintwork is good quality. The inside of the base is now coated, older models don't have that feature. The lettering and engraved logo is a nice touch. Bought one for me and one for a gift. Works well. Tip: dont put the aluminim ones in the diswasher, it ruins the chrome. Hand wash only. Lucky I learned on my cheap one before upgrading :) this bialetti moka pot is very nice, I do recommend.
