The replacement seal has worked at improving the flow rate of brewed coffee up to the collection chamber.If it becomes restricted, brewed coffee returns back down to lower vessel.

Disappointed

Don't throw out the original stainless steel filter when replacing component because the replacement is thinner than original therefore the whole unit doesn't fit snug into position causing the seal and filter to fall out!The only beneficial component was the rubber seal.

Far better than the original

I got a new Moka pot and was breaking it in, unfortunately the original gasket burnt and I had the most awful sticky residue with a rubber smell and taste too. I bought this replacement and it is far better. I actually dont know why they are not supplied with the silicone ones in the first place! I do find it leaks a little so need to tighten the pot quite tightly.

Filter and gasket sizes - aluminium vs stainless steel are different

Product quality and service: faultless, and delivered sooner than expected.One star off purely for the product description resulting in ordering the wrong item - as I'd carefully ordered the correct size and it turned out it's for the aluminum, not stainless steel (Musa) model. (it fits if you make it fit but not ideal).So perhaps a link to related products for these filters and seals/gaskets will help prevent confusion. (Also specifying that the measurements are for the gaskets not the filters?).Cheers.

Good quality replacement

I don't have a Bialetti coffee make so took some time to find seals with the matching dimensions. These are a perfect fit and seem like good quality silicone. Different to the red/orange rubber of the original. Yet to see it in action though but I'm confident.

Perfect - second time around

I accidentally burned my rubber seal, so bought a replacement seal/filter.But I got the wrong size, tricky to know what size you need, really.I contacted the lovely people at AB & they said that I could buy the size up & they will pay for return postage & refund me the old one.Super happy & caff'ed up :-)
