So I imagine it would be a perfect choice for a night date or any special dress up occasion.To be honest, I intended to give it 3.5 or 4 star because its a good scent but nothing groundbreaking. But after wearing it last night to bed for reviewing, then a rush morning to work and all the evening in the heat of Texas, I come home to find out its still lingering around. Ralph Lauren really take serious about the title Eau De Parfum of this Ralph Club. So I give it another star for the longevity.And the bottle is contemporary and cool and some kind remind me a little bit of my first cologne Ive ever had back in my 20s Polo Back which coincidentally come from Ralph Lauren too. I had difficulty picking out any of these particular notes, as the fragrance just had this very synthetic, sweet, invictus like vibe with some woody and amber touches. The fragrance wasnt offensive, but just generic. I didnt notice much evolution of the fragrance as it dried down, staying mostly linear from start to finish. After the test strip, I proceeded to try this several times on skin. Overall, I was highly disappointed in this release. The fragrance wasnt much different on my skin as compared to the test strip. Also, it fades remarkably fast, becoming a skin scent after an hour of wear and almost completely gone after two hours. I was worried I was becoming anosmic to the fragrance, but it was undetectable by friends and family after that 23 hour mark. Based on its weak performance and silage, coupled with its rather boring and linear progression, I would not recommend this fragrance. If you are a fan of crowd pleasing designer fragrances, I would spend your 110 on something like Versace Dylan Blue, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio Profumo, Bleu De Chanel EDP, or Dior Sauvage EDT. All of those have vastly better performance and are all massive compliment getters of the designer world.
