I love Bio-Oil so I thought getting the "lotion" would be a no brainer. Big fail. I wish I would have read the product description here before I bought it, "2x thinner than lotion." It isn't a lotion. It's an oil. I was expecting a creamy lotion with Bio-Oil in it. Nope it's a white oil. It also smells horrible. Not unscented, actually bad. I love Bio-Oil's scent so I was expecting the same or similar scent for this. As far as efficacy, jury is still out. I've only been using it for about 2-3 weeks. I haven't noticed any difference yet.

Can't say enough good things about Bio-Oil Moisturizing Body Lotion! This lightweight oil left my skin moisturized and soft. After one use I could see and feel the difference. I used it after my shower while my skin was still slightly damp, it went on smoothly with no greasy feel. My skin was still soft the next day. The oil is very runny, however, it wasn't messy to apply. It leaves no after fragrance so doesn't interfere with perfumes.
Absolutely LOVE this "lotion". It is more of a oil than a lotion which I love. It absorbs easily and doesn't take forever to rub in. It smells a bit like self tanner to be but it goes away after a bit. It is super hydrating and not sticky. My skin has never felt better. I see a lot of people on here complaining about the smell and the consistency. Neither the smell of consistency bothers me personally. Will be stocking up on this product!

It is a really unique and interesting formula. It is a liquid, very very thin. Applies like an oil but then has a change in texture and rubs right in and absorbs beautifully. It has a very slight scent, honestly like a cross between colloidal oatmeal and parmesan cheese? Which sounds bizarre but it fades quickly and isn't noticeable unless you're taking dramatic close whiffs of your own skin after application. The one downside is that because it is so thin and absorbs so quickly it's really not suitable for dry winter skin. Definitely more of a layering moisturizer or a light hydrator in the summer. I actually really love this "body lotion." Yes as other reviews have mentioned it is very thin as an oil and not so much as a body lotion. I thought i got a bad bottle or that my bottle sat in my car too long and i went to exchange it when i realized that all other bottles were the same consistency.Hear me out-After a clean shower or bath, I put my favorite body oil on(which of course is bio oil) then this lotion, then i put my EOS shea butter lotion on (i love the vanilla cashmere!) and my skin feels SO MOISTURIZED AND AMAZING. The lotion is not greasy and has a light very mositurizing feel.I honestly feel as thought the bad reviews are coming from those who were also unaware that the lotion is more oily than a thick consistency.
I have struggled my entire 54 years with dry skin. I've used every product on store shelves and even restored to boutique stores for various lotions and potions to no avail. I thought I was going to be relegated to a life of sticky laden creams that never solves my daily dry skin problem. No longer! Nothing has left my skin feel as good as Bio-Oil. This stuff is seriously like liquid gold. Jump out of the shower, dry off, and put this all over your body. You can beat the ease of use and the fragrance is really nice, too. I'm not one to write many reviews but this stuff is worth it.
I recently moved from an extremely humid environment to the desert, and my skin was so dry it almost hurt. I tried every lotion & cream I could get my hands on. I gave this a try and it was absolutely fantastic! Its thin and light, absorbs fast, and fixed my dry skin! I use it head to toe. I even bought some for my Mom and now she swears by it too! Its the best. Its not alwaya easy yo find in stores, so im constantly stocking up when i can get my hands on it.
I had really high hopes for this lotion. After all I love the oil and what it does for my skin and that signature smell. Upon receiving my disappointingly small bottle I showered and poured some out. It was thin like water. I understand it wouldn't be a cream but it was really thin. When I rubbed it on it seemed to just sit there with poor absorption and within a few hours it was as if I had never used it. While I appreciate no greasy residue I wanted a little moisture left behind. Won't buy again.
